  1. Unless Fleury is coming here for next to nothing, I don't want him. He's completely acrid and ultimately average. We're better off with our netminder.
  2. Pretty much, he went from Edmonton, to Nashville, to Montreal to Arizona before Minnesota.
  3. Green would be useful, but in the long haul all that is doing is creating a patch on the problem. Green is on the wrong side of 30. So while it helps in the short term, it does not fix the long term. Re: Gorges, Bogosian. I'm all good for the other names, though Shatty is a RHD.
  4. I'm hoping he steamrolls through the rest of the regular season and upends Matthews.
  5. I disagree. If you find the right taker who needs the help on the PP, he still could fashion a 2nd. Either way, you take what you can and move on.
  6. My two favorite teams face off. (As a kid watching Mogilny and Bure together was dynamite) I will definitely be watching this today! Excited!
  7. Well first and foremost, I'd like to see a big shake up in the defensive core. With Murray already re-upping Falk for another season while at only 650K, it makes me gag. I don't want to see anymore of Bogosian, Gorges, Falk, Fedun (While he has played admirably, it's paultry to have a 28 year old AHL lifer playing the entire season in the top 6.). I'm ready to trade off anyone who isn't a significant contributor going forward. This middling results starts with Bylsma and while I loathe Claude Julian, he'd be a massive upgrade.
  8. Trade him while value is high, get an asset and sign him on a 1 year deal. Also, take into consideration what he prefers to do. I doubt he wants to move his family too far. He's been a warrior. Being from the town I grew up in most of my life, I have the umpteenth respect for the Gionta family.
  9. I've been to Nassau several times, I thought it was such a better experience than Barclay Center. That building is a dump for a hockey game.
  10. Not at 3M per season. Unless Chaykin would like to take Moulson, or Ennis back. I watched a bit of the game and was impressed by Kulikov for the first time. Lehner has had an above average season with this being some of the "frosting" on the cake. Hopefully we can continue to gain some ground.
  11. No thank you! He's beyond his coaching life.
  12. I love the team as a whole, you can see them rounding the rough edges out of their game. I like following, and I watch most games with rooting intention. My only point of contention comes to the play from period to period and a lack of improvement on the back end.
  13. #BREAKING: Who cares what the Toronto Queefs do. #ShouldbeanyBuffaloFan I would take Reinhart over Marner, with the extra size, and more physicality in his game there's more upside. Marner is a fantastic offensive prospect for sure. Eichel vs Matthews, is a close call, however, Eichel has more responsibility whereas Matthews is far more sheltered. Bye now. I don't miss Pysyk and his whopping 7 points either. It was a worthwhile gamble.
  14. I'd be fine settling for Larsson. I love Theodore, but I definitely am fine with him.
  15. Please don't let McCabe be done. Ugh! Having to watch dregs like Falk all season will be so painful!
  16. Unless the trade makes sense, he should stay a Sabre.
  17. We could go with a current title "The Bye Bye Man" ala Bylsma and the playoffs likely :D
  18. Blah. I'm so tired of line-up's like this. It's not Bylsma's fault that Kulikov and McCabe are out of action, but watching Fedun, Falk, Nelson and Franson in the top 6, makes me crazy.
  19. Are you referring to Nilsson going back? Or Lehner. Either way, I do hope we can convince Petersen to sign his ELC. He's been rather impressive in College and it would be nice to have a goalie with some potential. Sorry Kasdorf and Ullmark.
  20. This is actually what I thought of initially, but thought it was too depressing lol!
  21. Awesome post. I'm good with getting rid of him if that's what Tim Murray feels like doing.
  22. Even with them healthy I still think they should strip mine it and start over. Aside from McCabe and Ristolainen, the rest should be both unprotected in the expansion draft, I'd love to see Murray get rid of any and all of them.
  23. I honestly think his only mistakes are the potential hire of Bylsma and contracts of Moulson, Ennis honestly. The other trades for better or worse have been even or wins. Whether you want to put the Winnipeg deal in either favor, I would say that the gentle giant (Myers) and Stafford have more or less come out about even with Kane and Bogosian for better or worse. While Armia has done some things and Lemieux still has yet to come to fruition Kane when healthy has proven effective in all zones. His 2015 and 2016 drafts were both solid. Especially last year with late round picks that seem to be doing nicely.
  24. That wouldn't even get you within 5 miles of a realistic asking price on either. Also, while Fowler is a decent enough skating defensemen he's still a liability in his zone. I'd rather pay more for Theodore, but Bailey and a 2nd doesn't get you past a "thank you for inquiring, have a great day!"
