  1. Amen!! I never understood the punctilious behaviors behind sweater etiquette. If you don't like the one I'm in then......don't froggin look at it! I won't be offended if you're not looking at me....I swear. Amen as well to life being short. It is. No matter how old you get.
  2. That's good news. I hope she feels better soon.
  3. Hopefully using a medical device.
  4. I had an EGD done this morning where they discovered an esophageal web that was most likely congenital. I say "was" because they stretched that mofo out...... OUCH! Hurts like hell. The sore throat is nothing. That spot they stretched that thing though...I am embracing my inner sissy. 2 days of liquid diet and no beer.....no beer! Cruel.
  5. So thaaaaat's why you need that mask. If you'd mixed enough LSD with the booze, you'd have remembered everything......Trust me....and stop lamenting about the partying already. It doesn't make any of us folks bad peoples. Enjoy you're life while you're here. To quote you're own meme.."when you're dead...you're not here anymore!"
  6. I'm going to be living vicariously through you guys tonight. Be generous with details please.
  7. I remember the really good teams. I was right there feeling the sting every single SB loss. The nose dive to what they are now makes me ill. The perpetual suck insults fandom. I'm done. Amerks look to be good so I got seasons again. I'm going to spend autumn enjoying the fruits of my labor. I'm going to let the Bills drift away.....
  8. 1. Poor offensive play calling.2. Poor clock management. 3. Poor play by QB. 4. Defense kept the score low. Seems like I've seen this before.
  9. Mrs .iT and I are celebrating 6 years of marriage today. We actually celebrate May 1st because that's the day we started dating 11 yrs ago. First marriage for either of us, which is rare for people our age. It's tough at times but when my eyes are closing for the final time....she is all I want to see.
  10. TT only had 15 yards in the air first half?? Garbage.
  11. My partner and I were in a scissor lift yesterday coming down for more material when Dum Dum approaches us. Asks how it's going and starts in telling us a bunch of useless info that doesn't even pertain to our project. It's senseless but I'm doing my best to follow along. Right in the middle of one of these senseless sentences, as he's speaking, he makes the sign of the cross. WTF?! I was so confused about what that was about that I couldn't even listen to the rest of what he had to say. Dum Dum is one weird dude.
  12. Yep. I had a lot of optimism for the guy after seeing his brother with the marlies. Hence the posts of disappointment. I'm very good with letting him simmer in Rochester.
  13. "Now tell me what's wrong? You see? Everyone's gone. You've got to your best to decorate this dying day....."
  14. This is an excellent analysis. I was critical of the kid last year but as you say, typical young player. He took bulking up seriously so that's a plus. I have no doubt that he'll eventually get the whole puzzle figured out and be somewhat near what most Sabres fans expect him to be.
  15. I caught this as I was catching up on things. I was mid-gulp and laughed beer right out of my nose. You're not right, man. Apparently neither am I.
  16. This is what I was thinking I'd post when I had the chance. Being good at many things is sometimes better than being great at one or two.
  17. I always loved being sent to Elmira. I did some crazy jobs in Anchor Glass. Saw this old crusty Ironworker with a hero complex almost fall face first into an open feeder furnace full of molten glass. I grabbed his leg and stopped him even though my brain was saying "see ya dummy". Keep working hard, man. If Dougie were here he would tell you to embrace the nitwits and their folly. Their chaos often leads us to free money. Take it from them when they're willing to throw it out. They'll just make some calls and get more;)
  18. Are you still in Elmira? I'm curious where you work that you are getting crazy time in. When we did all those bridges in Corning spanning the river we worked 14-18 hr days 7 days for weeks. I'm familiar with that area. Built a lot and did a boatload of maintenance stuff in a few of the factories there. I even had a beautiful young lady that I spent some very quality time with nearly 20 years ago that lived in Elmira. Very fond memories. I'm disappointed I never caught a Jackels game in iT's arena.
  19. "Modern" Stefani is boring and dull. The old school "Kick you in the face with a pair of boots" Stefani was soooooo darn......Giggidy.
  20. Oof!
  21. "...I drink from the faucet from the porch I take a pee I look at you through the bush at your house where you can't see me. I'll have to step into another state of mind to let you know that I am real. And all these worries you build up inside your soul? The ones that make your world stand still? Means you can feel...." IMO...Gold
  22. Had it a few times. Last time it lingered for 12 months. They have a specific brace for tennis elbow. It deflects the stresses in the tendon to a different spot so it can heal. It's over the counter so many retailers have them. I'd try one at least while your golfing. As Josie says, mild stretching will help. You need to drink some real Kentucky moonshine. My brother does wind farm maintenance and travels all over. He brings me a jar now and then. You will not only fall down, you will forget your own name.
  23. I agree that he's terrible at wing. That's true for both leagues I've seen him play in. You may generous labeling him a bottom 6 NHL center though.
  24. I like to toast zucchini bread in the toaster oven to crisp the edges. I then butter the hell out of it and add two poached eggs on top. Nice yolky poached eggs. Salt and pepper. Good God! I am just now realizing that I should fry the bread in the butter and really caramelized the sugars before adding the eggs. Hell next batch I'm going to try it as French toast!
  25. I buy a whole corned brisket. I don't corn it myself. We eat the flat as dinners and I use the point for hash. You need the fat to make hash right. The potato is boiled al dente and diced small. Use a cast iron skillet and let it heat until the fat sizzles. Add the potato until done. Prepare for morning nap.
