Hackett was never going to get out of the AHL and be a regular on the Sabres. Better to put Ullmark in Rochester next season. I expect Murray to get a big goalie through trade or FA.
I've accepted that the league won't let us get McDavid, but I just want to know we'll get Eichel. Otherwise all this suffering has been for nothing.
Friggin Mezsaros, they couldn't give him away at the trade deadline, and now he's killing us.
My helmet isn't listed. A couple years ago after hitting my head a couple times in a Bauer and getting a concussion I bought the Cascade M11 Messier Project helmet, supposed to be new design to reduce head trauma. I could tell the difference next time I got slew footed. I bought one for my son.
If you payed for years of lessons (tickets) and she still didn't improve, you'd be doing her and the audience a favor with some tough love. Bang the gong.
If Weber doesn't like playing in front of Buffalo paying customers, he should go to Murray and request he trade him after the season. I'm sure he would be accommodated.
I'd like both sides to be on at the same time to debate the issue. Peters should have called in during the Simon show if it was so offensive, or call the afternoon show.
If the Sabres get McDavid or Eichel, this will all be worth it and forgotten next year, when half the team will be new players, and possibly a new coach.
While I wouldn't have cheered Arizona, I would have gave a quiet fist bump.
I don't enjoy watching players gliding around like an all star game exhibition when a simple check could eliminate many of the scoring chances.
It takes more skill to score when you're getting checked throughout the game then it is when you know you can't be hit.
When I coached U18 boys hockey we played a couple games against a team from Canada who insisted we play no check. It was boring and the our kids hated it.
This isn't the 1950s; women should want to be allowed to play by the same rules as the men.
Maybe they're more relaxed playing for Buffalo knowing everyone expects they are going to lose, while with their new teams they are under pressure to win.
I'm glad Cruz is running. If he does well, it will force the relatively moderate Republican candidates to make more polarizing right wing promises to win the primaries, and will convince moderate voters in the general election to vote Democrat. Could also help the Democrats win the Senate.
