    I’d like the players to push for a reduction of the compensation required to sign another team’s RFA to an offer sheet to encourage more activity.

    The ECHL Jacksonville Icemen get a nice trip out west to Lake Tahoe to play in the first ever home game tonight for the new Tahoe Knight Monsters.

    Did he ever respond when invites were given? Like I said, help him out and at least remove his injured player.

    Like a week after you play him? 😉 You should at least remove a player who’s been out for over a week from his active roster.

    Based on his preseason play I’d say he’d be an improvement over Sandstrom.

    They would have just continued the same losing ways. They were not the solution.

    They were in Buffalo for years and didn’t make a difference. Changes had to be made. Unfortunately not enough were made.

    On Sabres Live Duffer said Howard asked if he could take his place tonight so he had an excuse not to watch the Mets. He gets too nervous and upset.

    Casey has 3 points and is still a -6. That means he’s been on the ice for 9 goals against. He’ll never be a dependable 2 way center.

    Ruff said that Krebs was being physical with Dahlin beforehand and that was why he retaliated.

    Maybe something happened earlier. Don’t know why Dahlin would initiate contact and then go after Krebs.

    Brian Duff said the Sabres were going 11 and 7 with Dennis Gilbert in. 🤔

    Just don’t look at your phone. I’m watching AEW WrestleDream and recording the game to watch after. If it goes bad I can fast forward, as I did so many times last season.

    The Sabres set the example for their minor league teams as both Rochester and Jacksonville lost their home openers before large crowds. And like the Sabres they also couldn’t score on the power play.

    My biggest concern is the goaltending. Hopefully they can get Reimer back from Anaheim before it impacts them too much. I’ve always liked Houser as a backup, but Sandstrom is a big question mark.

    If Lindy is serious about holding them accountable then he needs to sit Samuelsson next game.

    I hate A cappella anthems. They’re uninspiring and tend to become drawn out Americans Idol interpretations. At least add the organ. Other rinks have much better performances.
