Says Slaggert scored on NHL app.

Finally got video synced with WGR. Slaggert makes it 1-1.

Now Hulu says it’s not available in my area (Syracuse).

Houser in net. Pens just scored 3 minutes in.

If you have Hulu it’s also on there. But the stream hasn’t started yet. I sync the video up with the WGR audio.

Schoenfeld, Roger Crozier, Korab, or Punch Imlach should be on there instead of Afinogenov and Playfair.

He tracked the puck well and had a few tough saves, but most shots were from the perimeter. He mishandled the puck on the side in the 3rd and almost shot it into the net when he tried to pass.

Haven’t seen anything from the Greenway-McLeod-Zucker line. Tage seems like he’s dogging it. The 4th line is the only one that seems to go full speed every shift.

That’s why they try players in situations during preseason. I expect Greenway will be on PK1, and perhaps McLeod.

No Gretzky rookie, just a bunch of different ones from later years. I hated the Bruins as a kid, so guys like Orr and Esposito saw my bike spokes.

I don’t currently collect, but I still have my collection of hockey cards going back to the 1970s. I stopped collecting around the end of the Gretzky era. I also have many Starting Lineup hockey figures including; the first six that were produced, a Hasek-Gretzky one-on-one diorama, and a Gretzky-Messier two-pack with a replica Stanley Cup. My son doesn’t want them so I’m going to have to find a buyer for everything.

Still on it, 15 days from Prague to Amsterdam on the Danube and Rhine rivers. Great way to learn about sites going back up to 1000 years from local guides in each city. Food is great and all you can eat. Downside is you’re bound to get sick as colds get passed around on the ship. I’m on my second day of a sore throat.

Kulich

Used new hockey skates today for the first time. Boots fit ok but the blades were too sharp and are twice as high as my old worn out ones, so I skated like Frankenstein on ice. 😩

I just figured they’d have prices prominently displayed.

What did they charge for skates and sticks?

I was thinking, could McLeod move up to 2nd line center, with Cozens and Quinn on his wings? He has the speed, perhaps he could do more being out of the shadow of the Oiler centers. Then fill the 3rd line center with Kulich or Helenius.

I don’t trust Adam’s to make the best deals.

Don’t like giving up on Savoie before we even got to see him play in the pros. Would have rather given up Krebs and a prospect like Ostland.

He’s the one who made it public and even tweeted about it. Not the best role model for young players.
