London does seem to be a factory. Glad he is there. And sounds like Van will send Juolevi back so he will have a stud to get him the puck.
-
OT but does the War Memorial/BC Arena have landmark status? Those arenthe toughest to modernize
-
Maybe an internship for life after hockey...next year.
-
The Biebs told them to play the games in the Harborcenter?
-
That was the general consensus among the Twitter chatter. TM said that the goalie who reneged was not CJ

You need to do more research. Panarin had the max bonus structure and they did not accrue until after the regular season. It put them in a bind with Shaw, but they were not counted against the cap until earned.
-
Artem Anisimov centered Kane and Panarin and he is not a physical presence in any sense.
-
Correct, but based on his age, his first elc will be 2 years.
-
Zatloff was from Detroit and signed with LA. Chad never had an agreement to back out of.

If Bowman says I got a spot for you next to Toews, it won't matter. Same with PGH, which I do not consider NE.

Notice I did say "axe to grind." But a lot of hf boards were leaves fans trying to discount the trade. Those Isles fans almost to a man held the view that while respected as a man he won't be missed too much as a player due to some of the issues I mentioned. I think ROR or Sam would be perfect centers for him.
-
This is exactly the opposite opinion expressed on Isles sites. KO kills flow when playing with Tavares because he holds the puck too much. All said to keep him away from Eichel. ROR seems more logical. Again from those fans who have watched more closely but also have an axe to grind.

Players whose NMCs have limited no trade clauses must still be protected... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_NHL_Expansion_Draft Seems to be conflicting information
-
If he has a nmc, he must be protected in the expansion draft. That means exposing someone else of arguably greater value. If he has a nmc, it is disturbing.

Detroit and Pittsburgh have a disproportionately high number of fortune 500 companies who are headquartered there. Pgh: US Steel, Alcoa, Bayer, Westinghouse, Consolidated Co Black and Decker, Detroit: Ford, GM, Chrysler Fiat NA, and others. The communities have a lot of wealth and while inner city Detroit is scary, it is tirning around in some places. Buffalo has very few of these companies. The vibrancy pales to PGH and Detroit. I have lived in all 3. Buffalo is the Green Bay of the NHL without the tradition history or winning. Tough sell.

Chicago will go after Vesey hard. They can guarantee him a spot next to Toews. The way Q switches things it won't last long but the Shaw trade opened a spot.
-
I still believe Petersen will be our goalie when we win our cup. I know that is a few years away, but the kid is good.

You're not getting anything in that situation. The winning team has no incentive to pay. I suggested giving him a week window to talk to anyone but not sign. If he doesn't hear what he wants he signs here if he does move on. There is no incentive on his part or need on any teams part to move today other than fan paranoia. He isn't going to dev camp and camp doesn't open til September. Murray must operate like he doesn't exist. With that said I am not sure I am interested in him as much as I was. His actions seem like some sort of "statement " that serves no purpose. If this is like Stamkos where he wants to see the color of the grass on the other side, but still staying home, I still don't quite get it. After Friday the picture is much clearer and there probably won't be landscape changing moves between now and 8/15. I am not quite to pi level, but I think he may be overplaying the situation.

Minus 15 goals. And Fowler is the equivalent of McCabe defensively.
-
Kane has value to us. The net difference between adding Fowler and subtracting Kane is a negative for us.
-
Fowler is not that good, the market and panic is inflating his value.
-
If Kane is moved i want more than fowler.

Reports from other boards have the same opinion of KO as many had of Stafford. Maddeningly inconsistent and disappears for long stretches. But wait it gets better, puck hog who doesn't see his line mates and turns the puck over at the most in opportune times. Not bashing Okposo just a general observation of fan assessments.

Many people. But I think Bailey needs more time, and I think Fasching is a more.nhl ready player. I said it before, but I think Bailey lacks the hands at this point in his career. He can definitely develop them, but I would rather he do it at the AHL level.
