    my guess is the only way Dan goes is if GMTM goes. If you're GM, and you know you're going throw a long, contentious rebuild, why not let someone else take some of the arrows.

    what bothers me is GMTM is so self aware about what the fans' gripes are, and yet he's happy to just deflect.

    Hopefully it's just an hour of the Buffalo News asking when they can speak to Terry, and GMTM explaining that Terry doesn't come to things like this, and then Harrington says he was there at the beginning, and then GMTM says, kind of perplexed 'at the beginning?' and then Sullivan says well can we set up a meeting with Terry in the future, and then GMTM says i dont think i'm making myself clear, Terry hired me to speak on the hockey side of things, and then someone else from the Buffalo News says I saw Terry in Buffalo yesterday, will we be able to speak to him this week?

    Yes but, I can't believe i'm sort of defending crosby, the guy doesn't have some laser accuracy to swing his stick across a players body and perfectly chop his finger around the glove padding. that's just bad luck. guys slash sticks all the time without this result.

    Interesting comment from a Deadspin commenter saying: After Tuesday night’s brutal dick-shot to Ryan O’Reilly, he wouldn’t even come out of the dressing room to meet with his family and friends. They were escorted back to meet him, which... is not how that usually works. So, he has some sense of shame. I wonder if there's truth to it?

    i knew things were off when the BN had quotes from Sabres yesterday about having to make the long change every other period and how hard it was. what?! you've been doing that since you were a kid. not to mention the OTHER team has to do that as well. what is going on?
