Or it's proof he plays sheltered minutes away from the opposing team's top players. And that he's missed more games than players below him.

I'd trust national stat and broadcast affiliates over the Bunghole Tribune.

They had won four straight prior to today. Now 4-0-1 with 9 points in 5 games. Murray is out of the country right now so a chance is highly unlikely. They're giving Bruce time to figure it out.

Former Braves and Angels pitcher Tommy Hanson died tonight. From what I saw it sounds like his organs shut down. He was supposed to be a star but never quite got there. Just 29 years old. What a shame.

I think Gionta is here until he retires either this offseason or next. And he'll still be the captain. Then in two years it'll be between still too young to drink Jack Eichel and Ryan O'Reilly.

Bernie's social media has been trolling Hillary a bit. At one point they tweeted a link about a "newer" view of her's and said "I'm glad to see Hillary taking up positions I've held for years." Also, legitimate question: what is with the trend of Republicans referring to the democratic leaders (mainly those who appear to be the strongest candidate for president and the president themself) by their initials? Obama has been referred to as BHO somewhat often, and I originally thought this was a lame ploy to bring up his middle name as if it meant something. But now all we see is HRC with Hillary (ya know, her actual name). I've noticed some of my dem friends who hate Hillary also call her HRC from time to time but not as consistently. Why is this a thing?

He has done this for every single game. Josh Johnson was a captain against the Bengals the first game he was active. When he was with the Jets Aaron Maybin was a captain against us.

I like Tom Hiddleston as an actor a lot. I don't know if he could do Bond (no action experience and a little small) but that's an interesting name.

I disagree that the lineup (hey, wait... That's what this thread is called) deserves its own thread. We'd have a new thread every single day if that were the case.

I'm with Aud here. It seems as though GMTM has kind of made it clear to many that "winning" trades isn't how it works. How do the pieces fit and is your team in a place you want them to be after the trade? Obviously there are still good and bad deals that GMs need to be judged on, but it's not so black and white as winning and losing.

Seems like they have a date in mind https://twitter.com/BuffNewsVogl/status/663781649935527936 Sabres' Bylsma on Bogosian: "There is a date when you will see him. Eventually, you will see it come to fruition." http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2015/11/09/bogosian-still-absent-from-sabres-practice/ "He’s doing well, on progression, building a foundation," the coach said. "There is a date when you will see him. Eventually, you will see it come to fruition. He’s not going on the trip with us here. He will be skating back here and has ramped up where he’s at. He’s in some higher-level stages than three days ago."

Coco getting closer Coach Bylsma says Bogosian will not be making the trip to Florida, but he is getting closer to returning.

Here's the article from Craig Custance who was tweeting most of this: http://espn.go.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0455414518541983461-4 (Edit: somebody tweeted that it was an article but it's just a video)

Maybe the shaft? (Make sure your sound is on and the vine sound is on by clicking the top left of the video where the speaker symbol is)

So Bill Daly and Gary Bettman had some type of conference call today to discuss expansion. Some notes (not citing them, they're all from reliable reporters on Twitter): - no announcement will be coming in December - they're not delaying the process for Seattle - Bettman said "it's either Las Vegas or Quebec City" and mentioned how expansion means dividing revenues by "31 teams" which seemed to indicate he's thinking two new teams is unlikely (edit: reporter clarified that he said one or both of them, so 32 probably still likely if they expand) - he's confident in the Florida market and also said he believes Atlanta would support an NHL team if only they had a local owner (but added it's not happening) - they're taking a long-term approach on this and aren't just going for a cash grab - the AHL strongly supports expansion because it would give them more teams - relocation is an absolute last option, only did it in ATL because of no local owner

Yes. Fox NFL Sunday has Riggle do a skit every weekend.

The Phillips Sonicare toothbrush is amazing. They accidentally sent it to me when I requested a spare part for a Phillips trimmer, so I got the heads and it's been awesome. It makes my teeth feel legitimately clean.

Me too. I'm uninterested in a debate about it. I see no reason to bring it into the discussion in the first place, but I was also mostly kidding.
-
Because the genitalia of those in the discussion was prioritized. So either BJ doesn't know the gender of us posters or he believes only females bicker.
-
I'd say that was one of the more tame and productive discussions this board has had when the discussion starts with a disagreement. Back pat to myself and the other males involved in the discussion.

Bernie has been ALL OVER this issue for a while now. https://www.facebook.com/senatorsanders/videos/10154060726217908/

I don't follow Fahey. Familiar with some of his work, but I just followed him on Twitter. I'll get a little closer and try to learn from him. I also like those stats you mentioned. I'm often too lazy to get into advanced stats for football, especially in discussions/debates. The advanced stat brigade (aka people smarter than me) should find some way to rate QBs based on the context of their team. I don't think Russell Wilson is a great quarterback, but I think he offers basically everything that team needs. He's a good mix with the running game and smart enough to avoid a ton of mistakes which allows the defense to rest up and be consistently good-to-great. Peyton Manning has played with some terrible defenses so he's had to be a Hall of Famer just to win some games and win with some teams.
