    We've had some discussion on this in the "Around the NHL" thread, so I figured it'd be worth it's own thread. Mods, would it make sense to migrate some of those posts?     I just re-read. Reports are saying they're not sure what's driving his market. I'm with you now. But I still stand by what I said. I'm fine with Marleau pushing for a deal if he wants it. A little foolish to demand a trade then restrict it to such a low number of teams (if that really is the case), but I understand it.

    They gave him a NMC for a reason (he earned it with his loyalty to them). He's not demanding a trade. The reports are that the Sharks are looking to shake it up and teams have been calling about Marleau. He earned this power and is using it (if the report is true). Apparently the Rangers have been scouting them heavily, so maybe a deal is possible there.

    Eichel really turning it on right now. Two straight multi-point games after not having any.

    I like Reinhart's game tonight. I've seen him create two turnovers. He's been in good position a few times and even just had a strong drive to the net there.

    All the complaining we've done about them fawning over other teams' stars will end once they start doing it with Eichel. It'll feel nice.

    Imagine every Alex Ovechkin power play goal you've ever seen but with Eichel scoring instead.

    Did these announcers really just miss that penalty call? The puck went to the Tampa goalie and they said "and it's whistled down for an offsides" then started talking about other stuff.

    NHLPA has previously agreed to allow changes to goalie equipment. They made it more moderate than the original proposal was, but I don't think they're going to cry foul much. Colin Campbell also said they will likely change the size of the nets if the recent tweaks in goalie equipment doesn't help.

    I do agree that the nets were made for smaller goalies and could've/should've been adjusted because of it.

    I agree with the tweaking equipment way before messing with the nets. As far as the sticks go - no way. We don't need to take away one of the few offensive advantages at this point. Equipment should be rounds off and jerseys made to fit snug without restricting.

    I'm sure he's been on the ice against good players occasionally, but if we played him against talented offensive players consistently we'd be in deep .

    Maggie pointing out that she burned the last picture she had of Glenn to the guy who is known to have owned a camera at some point also has me wondering if that'll come into play. Maybe he'll die and then that guy will slip her the photo as she cries.

    27th overall player in the league at CF%. There will always be dumb exceptions to advanced stats.

    Methinks Glenn is going to return just to die outside the gate. He's going to look up and see Maggie and they'll have a brief moment of either joy or sadness as Glenn becomes a decoy. Or they'll finally get a plan together to escape but Maggie will see zombie Glenn and give up.

    Yes. But if you're going to make any judgements off it it's not that Weber isn't as bad as we think it is.
