Likely premature but there's some speculation about why Hertl was scratched in San Jose tonight... One reporter: Question whether there's a Hertl trade increases the longer #SJSharks take to explain his late scratch
-
Dreger: Intrigued by the Stamkos buzz. My sense...if he leaves TB it won't be about $ and his top priority will be to go to a team ready to win.

Toronto is perfect for him. Great market. Home. He doesn't have to take a discount because they'll have plenty of room. Babcock. Some young talent with a likely high pick to supplement it. Just in time for their 100-year celebration. New uniforms. No Donald Trump in Canada. You can still Google pictures of puppies above the border as far as I know. French fries.

Looks like Foligno sits and CO'Reilly is in. Enjoy! EDIT: one reporter is saying Legwand is out for CO'Reilly. The rest are saying Foligno. Edit to my edit: Foligno out. CO'Reilly centering the fourth line.

Tyrod Taylor's deep ball missed by a tiny bit here (blue line is ball trajectory). https://twitter.com/Cianaf/status/676904000466325507

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/flapanthers/2015/12/jerseylogo-report-part-xii-new-details-about-florida-panthers-new-logo-and-jersey-come-to-light-sort-of.html Panthers makeover update. Player who saw it said the logo will be just a Panthers head unlike anything they've used. Blue will be minimized and the yellow will be a deeper gold. Will have a Canadiens-style stripe on the middle.

He's got one foot in two and one in four, holding Stephen Ross' hand. Ross looks over to catch Tannehill's eye only to see a reflection of the beautiful quarterbacks in category one having all the fun. A single tear shed from Ross' eye. Bills fans rejoice while not even pondering what it's like to have any type of quarterback in any category.
-
Dude shootout to the creators of this website for the mother spoiler tag... If only somebody around here could teach people how to use it.
-
Because there's only four groups I had to put Tannehill in 2. I considered 3 and 4. But it's not too early anymore and I take "we're in trouble" as "there's a small chance we've got out guy but smart money is on making a move immediately." He doesn't fit in 2 but that's the closest category for him.
-
I feel like there's a legitimate question on whether Tyrod fits in 3 or 4, but since I can't say defintively I think it's obvious he fits in 3. Category 1: Patriots (Brady) Steelers (Big Ben) Seahawks (Wilson) Chargers (Rivers) Packers (Rodgers) Cardinals (Palmer) Falcons (Ryan) - this year is an exception but I think they're fine long-term Giants (Eli) Panthers (Cam) Colts (Luck) Ravens (Flacco) Lions (Stafford) Category 2: Bengals (Dalton) Jaguars (Bortles) Raiders (Carr) Dolphins (Tannehill) Titans (Mariota) Buccaneers (Winston) Cowboys (Romo) Category 3: Bills (Tyrod) Vikings (Bridgewater) Snyders (Cousins) Eagles (Bradford) Category 4: Saints (Brees' contract) - only because he may be moved Jets (Fitz) Browns (Manziel) Texans (Hoyer) Broncos (Manning/Oswiler) Chiefs (Smith) Beard (Cutler) Rams (Foles) 49ers (Gabbert) No particular order.

Sarah McLellan: #Coyotes announce goalie Mike Smith had a core muscle injury and underwent surgery this morning in Philadelphia. Sidelined 8-10 weeks.

Can't disagree with any of what you're saying. I nearly don't care about where they draft because I think the difference will be marginal and they may not have an impact anyways. Although, to Whaley's credit, the draft hasn't been much of an issue for him. I don't think much is going to change for this team over the next few years. I don't believe, if it ever happens, a winning Bills team will have many (if any) of the current players playing key roles. We're a ways off with the needle pointing down while riding on the small chance Tyrod becomes a real star.
-
IF they lose out it's more likely they'd move up to somewhere between 9-11. But I doubt they lose all three. I see no benefit to winning games from here on out. They've played 13 games so there's not much left to learn about this group. I don't care about a team that "rallies" after they already screwed the pooch on their playoff chances, and I don't believe much in "momentum," let alone momentum translating from one playoff-less season to the start of the next.

@SabresProspects: Minnesota's Hudson Fasching named #B1GHockey 3rd Star of the Week. Fasching scored three goals, launched 12 SOG in their split at Michigan
-
Minnesota claims Jaret Stoll. Montreal waives Zack Kassian after he was reinstated today.
-
Considering the billion other times I spelled it correctly while jizzing about Hudson, we all know it was a typo. Sticky keys.
-
I feel like I just read the EPAreport. That was much appreciated.
-
There's a very real chance Hodson Fasching is a Buffalo Sabre next year.
-
After reading these posts it walks like one, looks like one and quacks like one.

Bills currently hold pick 18... The next three games are must lose. Due to their strength of schedule they have next to no chance of getting much higher. http://mweb.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/nfl-draft-scout/25414166/nfl-draft-updated-draft-order-through-week-14

http://news.sportslogos.net/2015/12/13/maple-leafs-will-get-new-logo-new-uniforms-in-2016/ No only are the Leafs getting new jerseys next season but also a new logo. May be word mark free.

I need to share this. Late last night I went into a familiar place of thinking about my brother and the times we had, so I was already vulnerable to what this video's target was... But it really got me. Hits home so well.

With that assist Mike Weber is still looking for his first career point.

Don't mess with the Johan!
