Caps look old and slow...if this continues the Sabres will bury them

The only comparable thing I have ever seen while watching sports live when you suddenly realized a person's life was on the line if medical professionals didn't act quickly where every second counted was the Clint Malarchuk incident with the Sabres. It was traumatizing to see. Still have not eaten after seeing last night's incident with Damar Hamlin and feel sick to my stomach when I even think about food. As an athlete you never consider the chance that you might die on the field. You understand injuries happen and are a part of the game and do your best to minimize them happening, but dying is never a part of what you signed up for.

They did but even with that, the Sabres had plays to be made...ones they normally make and look easy that they didn't make.

They just seemed a little off tonight to me...They lacked a crispness that is normally there with them.

Sabres had several grade A chances too and a bar Thompson hit.

They definitely were a little off tonight...lots of opportunities for good chances with a better pass and they just seemed to always end up in a skate or be just a little too far and made the players reach for it and gave the defense time to get to them... Still had some really good chances, just didn't bury them. I'm going to go with them being a little tired from 3 games in 4 nights. Hopefully they have a better outing next game.

How is having 6 men on the ice fan bias? It's literally a non judgement call. There is no judgement when you count 1,2,3,4,5,6 skaters on the ice for several seconds. Talk about a ridiculous view

I've really like Clague for the most part...he is solid. Have also really liked how the Sabres have seemingly figured out how to play with proper position defensively...teams are have a far harder time getting the high slot chances they were giving up so often earlier in the year...very good at keeping things to the outside and getting good thing up players, getting sticks in passing lanes and backchecking like crazy to pick up the trailers...it's not an accident they have not allowed more than 3 goals in their last 7 games.

They went toe to toe with the best team in hockey, got some crap reffing along the way to allow Marchand to score with 6 men on the ice, a 5 on 3 after that along with a double minor killed off, then battled back to tie it and win it in OT as Cozens left old man Bergeron in the dust before dishing it off to Tuch for the game winner. Pretty damn nice...this team is afraid of nobody and no one.

This is also the first time ever the Sabres and Bills have been on 6 game winning streaks at the same time. Pretty good time to be a Buffalo Sports fan.

If the Sabres continue to play at the pace they have with Mule in the lineup and he can stay healthy, they will finish with 111 points. Easily in the playoffs.

When Tuch scored in OT I burst off the couch like a man possessed and got down on one knee and did a celly and then jumped back up with a few windmills yelling "Yes!!!" My wife and two daughters looked at me like I was crazy 🤣🤣
