WNY now under a Blizzard warning from7am Fri to 7am Sun and Buffalo expecting 30-36" of snow with most likely being 32"... Would put us over 80" already for the year and winter just started yesterday...

I said last year that big trade they made with Huberdeau would not work out well for the Panthers and I was right.

There is no way they are playing this game Friday...this storm system is the equivalent of a Land Hurricane with pressures likely to be around that of a Category 3 hurricane.

Won't get to that level luckily as there isn't 3+ feet of snow sitting on the entirety of a frozen Lake Erie and around WNY waiting to blow into the area

Going back to last year and the year before that as a Sabre, he has a grand total of 6G-28A-34P in 141 games and 2,988 minutes of ice time, meaning he is averaging almost over 21 minutes of ice time a game. That is mind bogglingly terrible production for a guy who wasn't all that bad in terms of point production with the Sabres for the most part having 4 straight 40+ point seasons here. Dahlin has 37 points in 31 games just this year 😂

There may actually be a blizzard coming this weekend and it's supposed to be the equivalent of a Cat 3 hurricane in terms of how low the pressure gets. Crazy!! Once in a generation storm system... Heavy Snow likely as well...first from the actual storm system and then from heavy lake snows once it passes...new model runs showing 3-4' potential from Erie, PA to the snow belts east of Buffalo. Buffalo Metro likely 15-20"...whiteout conditions with winds 65+ mph at times.

I mean it seems weird to single him out when the entire team was playing in their own end the whole 3rd period. Vegas had more shots in the 3rd than the Sabres did all game. Pathetic. I dunno...he was getting beat on those clean shots a lot in other games, maybe he is just figuring out better position and angles when he comes out to challenge because those have been atrocious as well in a lot of games.

This is almost mind bogglingly pessimistic. The man is leading the NHL in goals/60 minutes over the last 82 games(a full NHL season of games) and leading it by an even bigger margin this year. The only way he doesn't shatter 40 goals at this point is if he gets injured for 2 months or more. The equivalent of this would be like saying "Gee..I don't know if Buffalo will get to 65 inches of snow...so many things could go wrong...it could be warm for like 2 months straight..." as we sit here with 50 inches before winter has even technically started. Not only will we get to that amount of snow, we will shatter that amount.

I don't know now...UPL seems to have really found something the last 2 games. Last night he looked like Prime Hasek at times. It was kind of unbelievable actually. I would probably slow play Comrie coming back as long as UPL keeps playing like this.

Or altitude in Colorado...or any other time they have big leads...always some reason. Bottom line is they need to stop playing the NHL version of prevent defense in the NFL because usually it prevents you from winning.

Again...I HATE how they play 3rd periods with big leads...hanging on for dear life. Same as Colorado. It was the altitude there. Tonight it's probably they were tired at the end of a road trip...
