Kozak telling all his haters they can get the Bozack! 😂

We are going to be getting some snow in WNY early next week...not huge amounts but likely 6-12", potentially more, still too early to say with certainty.

Sure there are...things like GH, Testosterone at supraphysiological levels, a few other steroids and now even some of the stronger SARMs do. If you said do it within the guidelines of what is acceptable by the league then probably not.

I don't mess with ranch on salads at all...Italian, Greek or Bleu Cheese for me...even just a plain olive oil and balsamic vinegar is good. -

I think you underestimate how much faster a person will heal when given around the clock cutting edge treatments with trained medical staff at their beck and call versus the average person who does likely not even 1/10th of the treatments and PT/rehab he will be doing and has no such staff of medical professionals on call 24/7.

Hell no. Ranch is for dipping chips or veggies, not wings. -

Snow. But it's not without good reason. We hold the all-time US record for seasonal snowfall for any city of over 100K people at 199.2" and are the 2 time defending National Golden Snowglobe Champ, given to the location with the most seasonal snowfall in the US of more than 100K people(including Alaska). Currently in 2nd place this year but unlikely to catch Anchorage this year, who has a commanding 50+" lead over us. Finishing 1st, 1st, and 2nd in 3 consecutive years rightly earns us that reputation. -
What was that idiot doing driving at that speed in those conditions? Dude should be fired on the spot, he clearly poses a public safety risk to anyone he comes in contact with when he is out on the road.

Probably not much. It was at 42 degrees just before the lake snow started, record warm temp for this time of year. Still at 37 degrees even after this week+ of cold air. Temps rebounding back into the 40s again next week. Wouldn't be surprised to see under 20% ice cover,

Better you than us...we are sitting on about 11 inches or so for the year compared to 110 inches last year at this time.

New Jersey last year...Vancouver this year...Sabres when??
matter2003 replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
Cool...be patient for another 5 years while another 10 teams pass us including those that start a rebuild next year or the year after and slingshot right past us as we stay spinning our wheels. -
New Jersey last year...Vancouver this year...Sabres when??
matter2003 posted a topic in The Aud Club
Last year new Jersey went from being one of the worst teams in the NHL to being one of the best. This year, Vancouver who was terrible last year and like 30 points beneath the Sabres is doing the same thing in the Western Conference as they are now on top of the conference with 51 points(tied with Colorado but have played 1 less game). They also seem to have no issues defending while generating offense as they lead the NHL in goals with 142 and also lead in goal differential at +46, 13 goals better than the 2nd place Kings in that department. Literally when does the BS with this team end? Year after year teams pass us on their rebuilds and go from terrible to really good and yet the Sabres make a smaller jump and now fade back again. Toronto passed us long ago in their rebuild and have maintained it. Even Philadelphia is showing signs of being decent now. But the Sabres once again can't get it together and are near the bottom of the league again. Vancouver seems to have no issues with it's young players defending well while still generating offense, but the Sabres can't seem to figure it out. So tiring to watch team after team after team start rebuilds and pass us in 1/4 of the time it's taken us to even get decent and then end up falling off again. It's inexcusable. It's inept. It's time for something to change. How is this acceptable? How is Adams looking around watching these other teams continuously go from worst to first and sitting there thinking they need more "time"? You've had 12 years. Get it together NOW or get gone. -
Is There A Case For Being Patient? "Patience" is not a dirty word
matter2003 replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
Well, I find it funny that teams that went from sucking and are young are constantly bypassing the Sabres on their rebuild year after year... Toronto...New Jersey...Philadelphia...now Vancouver who went from one of the worst teams in the NHL last year to leading the Western Conference, just like New Jersey did the year before. How long does it actually take to go from bad to good? Why do all these other teams seem to be able to do it far faster than the Sabres following their style of rebuild? Tired of the excuses while team after team drafts and develops and gets results while we spin our tires going nowhere for 12 years now. -
After the latest loss, what does accountability look like?

Non-existent that's why they are in the position they are in to begin with. -
GDT: Leafs @ Sabres - Thu. 7 pm ET, Dec 21, 2023, MSG-B 📺 WGR 📻

Sabres have more regulation wins that Toronto does on the year...12 versus 9. -
Saw that coming after the GM got fired...new GM's typically don't like being "stuck" with someone else's coach.

Some of it is maturing into their bodies and learning how to use it in that way because they never really had to since they were always the star players on their teams.

Plenty good enough. When they want to be. You don't go from looking like the Harlem Globetrotters on Ice 75% of the time last year making teams look ridiculous for most of the game to "not good enough" overnight. How many times did we watch teams hemmed in their own end for 2 minutes at a time as the Sabres cycled the puck, skated circles around them and had a shooting gallery going on? This team is playing with no desire, no confidence and no "get up and get it" right now. They are playing as if they are looking over their shoulder for something bad to happen and then when it does they get into a "Oh no! Here we go again!" mode. Then by the time they snap out of it and actually start playing, they are down 2,3,4-0 and it's too late most games. Sure they have some "almost" come back games and a few actual comeback games(like the Pens game), but this is not a way to win consistently in the NHL. They have no direction, no structure, Granato has them unsure of what to do now because they aren't playing their style from last year but aren't really playing a defensive style either, they are kind of in No Man's Land trying to play both and it's not working. Honestly, he just needs to let them go back to how they played last year. They have the talent to outscore a lot of teams, that might have to be good enough this year. Granato told them to play fearless last year and they did...this year they are playing FEARFUL and you can't win like that. Honestly if I was Granato I would have my video assistant make a highlight reel clip of their goals from last year when they looked at their best and have them watch it and tell them this is who you are now go play like it.

After The Whistle Goes OFF On The Entire Sabres Organization
matter2003 replied to sabremike's topic in The Aud Club
Ownership has everything to do with it. Just ask the New York Knicks under James Dolan and the Washington Redskins/Football Team/Commanders under Dan Snyder. Owners can meddle in everything from who gets a big contract, to who is on the team, to who plays in games, how much time coaches/GMs get to turn things around(aka they want IMMEDIATE RESULTS even when there is no basis in reality to expect them), to anything else you can think of and often times DO. You make the very very wrong assumption that owners simply hire a person to do a job and then remove themselves from day to day operations. On good teams that happens, on bad teams it doesn't many times and is the reason why their teams never see much success. -
That was due to COVID restrictions/cancellations and then when things got back to normal he was rehired. The Schopp and the Bulldog interviews with him when they play the college play by play call to some big fight he got into as the intro for that segment is freaking hilarious

Come out, dominate and kick the proverbial crap out of the best team in the NHL?
