I will put this here, 'cus we have very mixed emotions right now ... My wife and I just sold our home in Bedford. The home we lived in and loved for over 20 years. We have been through a lot in that house and are in a kind of mourning right now. We miss the trees, the gardens ... if you remember we have had to carry 2 homes for a lot longer than we anticipated. We like where we are now. We will move on, but it will be with mixed emotions.

I would have prefered a 5, or 6, year deal now in this COVID era reduced salary situation. IMO, Samson is a keeper. We are finally getting a *real* roster full, or mostly full, or *real* NHL players. Now, give me an upgrade in goal, or give me another painful season ending. +++++ Back on point ... I think the Linus deal is a very good one.

Well, after so long I guess this is awesome. End result is awesome, but somewhat disappointing too. We have had to carry 2 houses for about a year and a half now. With small renos to the old house to get it ready to sell that took a lot longer than anticipated to COVID to bad weather to buyers not appreciating a very nice house ... my wife designed a major addition 15 years ago ... Today we accepted an offer that was a bit lower than we wanted, but at least it is done now, which is a relief. The house is worth over $500,000, but with the unique design (2 bedrooms up, 1 on the main floor and a *proper* bedroom in the completely finished basement) we knew it would likely be a tough sell and not everyones cup of tea. Accpted an offer at $480,000, but with the stipulation that there is no wiggle room to address any *minor* issues upon inspection.
