What a match ... fantastic and exciting. Spain was up 3 - 1 (the 1 was an OG) as full-time approached. It's now 3 - 3 at 90+5. What a comeback by Croatia in the final 10 minutes ... scored at 85 and then at 90+2. End of regulation ... 3 - 3 going to extra time now.

They suspect it to reach 50+ there today. The coast of BC, like the coast of NS, never see that hotness. So far, we are spared, but just a few kms inland and it's game over.

I love the Scots. They speak my language, which is vaguely similar to English. It's much closer to Newfoundlandish. We have a rich Scots history here in Nova Scotia, which is Latin for New Scotland (bet you knew that) ... so much so that we have a very nice town named after your town ... bet you would never guess it's called New Glasgow. I hear you that it's the 'new normal' for very hot, but we are talking 50+ in BC during the day and over 30 at night. There is not time for the body to recover overnight if it is 30+. It will be 40+ in Montreal for the next week and intense thunder storms. We are up to 3 named storms in the Atlantic, with a fourth very likely in a few days. On the 5th in the Pacific. The season is just getting started.
