Jack Eichel: Trade rumors and speculation
Sabres Fan in NS replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Not questioning this doctor, he seems very legit, but I do not see him listed in the Medical Staff section of the Sabres Staff Directory, which probably means he is not on staff directly, but as a consultant. Interesting tidbit that I did not know is that Rivet and Peters are Sabre employees. Explains a lot. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/team/staff -
Today is officially Emancipation Day in Canada and also in Nova Scotia (us and Ontario are the only provinces to recognize the day officially). It's to recognize the abolition of slavery in the British Empire on August 1, 1834. It's about time ...

Unfortunately, there are some on the interwebs that believe that is their responsibility. Just look at the Evander Kane thread that is very active on here now. -
Awesome tune, but @PerreaultForever is Canadian. From BC, if I recall correctly. Now, most Canadians of a certain age remember President Nixon. Not my lifetime, but I remember stories of Vice President Nixon. About the best thing he ever did was end the draft in '73, although somewhat reluctantly.

MEIER!! 😎 -
I agree, but he is a bit too young and inexperienced. I vote for Kyle and when he is done as a Sabre, in 2 years I think, Cozens will be ready (I think) for the role.
-
When Housley was drafted in 1980 the league was not ready for his talents and style of play. If he played now hockey fans would love him.

We generally don't make stuff up that could hurt someone, or help define their character, when there is no proof of anything. Surely, you must see the difference between yucking about an Eichel trade, or drafts ... and this kind of stuff.
-
I find it hard to believe that an NHL player making milliions could suddenly be bankrupt, but it's possible, just like anyone else when you spend more on credit than your income. Are there court documents somewhere on the interewebs that he is in bancruptcy?

Great thread Not only are most here already pronouncing him guilty before charged, but some are calling his wife not smart. Yup another one for the ages
-
The guy has issues, like the rest of us, but since he is a celebrity this stuff is latched onto. Yes. Poor guy.
-
Until further notice it's his wife on a rant.
-
I meant why start this thread. Why do we have to drag this poor guy through the mud every chance we get? Some social media junk and right away with no investigation, or anything, he is vilified.
-
Why?

Can we just keep this stuff out of here? -
Then who do we put with Rasmus II? Miller, or Pysyk? Maybe someone from the dregs? I think Miller.

I'm confused. Not the first time. I thought the ADR was the more risky surgery and the fusion was less risky? Then again, I'm not a doctor and here I am questioning one ... -
Who’s the goalie tandem in 21-22???
Sabres Fan in NS replied to Crusader1969's topic in The Aud Club
I think Anderson will be one of the 2 regulars to start the season. I think he still has something to give. I don't think the Sabres will have a 'starter' and a 'backup' ... it'll be more 2 goalies I think Anderson playes the year in Buffalo and they will rotate in between the others, unless another goalie shakes free before the season starts. -

Which surgery? The high-risk one that John wants, or the less risky one that the Sabres medical staff seem to think is warranted at this time? -
Everything Kevyn Adams has done as Sabres GM

I think you have the date of the Risto trade wrong? I think it was the 23rd, so the Sabres could use the pick in the first round that evening. Now, I'm just over-bored and read the whole list and being a big pain in the ass. -

Just quoting @nfreeman excellent post here, just so it doesn't drift to far down the rabbit hole as this thread will like get to several more hundred pages in the next few hours. -

As @nfreeman (a lawyer, if I recall correctly) pointed out the statement did not say exactly what surgery the Sabre doctors had now said is needed. Seems that they were very cleaver not to say what surgery. Maybe the Sabres docs have said that a lesser proceedure may be warranted at this time if rest has not helped that much. Apparently, there is a less risky proceedure than what John wants. -

Sad story, but also inspirational. Thanks for sharing.
