You hit the nail on the head here. Sabres fans are tired of waiting and want to see a competitive team now. Especially from a first round pick. Buffalo rushed Kassian and Grigorenko and others because of this.

Even 185 is still small. This is the NHL. Not every player can be Martin St Louis. They swung for the fence with Quinn. Chicks named Emily usually aren’t cute. Doesn’t make him the right pick there. I still think this was a huge mistake. Isak will likely be a mistake too. These aren’t picks the Sabres should be gambling on, with the state they are in.
