    Seattle is a cursed sports town. I can't root against them for the likes of Denver (even though I really like Payton). This proves that legalization of marijuana makes your team better at football.

    Don't act like you weren't the first to read it, all time posting leader. :P Last night my sibs and I went up to the pond a little before the 49ers and Seahawks game (which we recorded). When we got back we were able to watch a football game in about an hour and a half. It was awesome. The 3 awesome-est moments from yesterday's football games: 3) Tom Brady slow motion facepalm 2) Sherman going absolutely nuts 1) Kaepernicous's jump throw that went ~35 yards. That was some Bert Favor in his prime ######.

    I think you're undervaluing Ehrhoff a little bit, but you're definitely right about it making sense for Colorado to keep O'Reilly. You have MacKinnon as your #1 center with superstar upside. You have Duchene as your #2 center putting up big points against weaker competition. You have O'Reilly as your shut down center who is capable of putting up 50+ points. Paul Stastny doesn't fit into their plans.

    With a high pick this year and a lot of ammunition for trades, I don't think another year of tanking is worth it. Our front office will actually be building a team and not just getting a good return on trades. Next year might be a middling year in the standings, but it will hopefully be a building block towards actually becoming a contender.

    These are 2 amazing posts. I think I'm a little bit more on the freeman side ever since PLF and TN gave me hope. Ever since Tim Murray and Craig Patrick got hired, who needs another year of a suckitude?

    Since you're one of those guys that gets disappointed by hindsight draft possibilities (not a slight, everyone does), the Bills picked Aaron Williams and the next two picks were Dalton and Kapernick. The Bills also picked TJ Graham 5 picks before Russel Wilson because they thought he'd be there in the 3rd. Also, Troup and Gronkowski.

    That's a tough one. I have always really liked Eberle, but I think I'd prefer Hall. That said, I think Eberle and RNH are both more available than Hall. But I really don't want to trade one of our good defensemen.

    I think the upside on Grigorenko is something this team sorely needs and I would take the gamble on him reaching his potential rather than dumping him to add another 2nd round pick or Larsson type player. I also think human beings are a lot more complicated than you make them out to be, and despite the fact that you're good at reading people, you're a bit quick on the draw at times.
