They make lots of money so it's understood that their quality of life (most of which should take place after professional hockey) is not a concern? How are they going to live long enough to spend all that money? I am so far off from the way you think about this. And men can slam into one another on ice at any level of hockey. The NHL is the level where the skill allows for amazing hockey.

My sister's boyfriend has been skating the pond with us. He was a first time skater when he started, and he did so with a hockey stick in his hands. It's unreal how fast people progress when they're playing hockey, because the skating has to become second nature almost instantaneously. Also, tonight was my last adult league game with my old sh*tty skates, sticks, and helmet. My dad is getting me all new stuff for Christmas.

It was just a nitpick, as those two QBs definitely run more than 3 times per game and they are both good enough to make deep runs in the playoffs.

EJ is intelligent, tenacious, and wants to win badly. Did you see the huge smile on his face after the last game as he ran onto the field to high five and celebrate with the defense? I can already see makings of a young leader. It remains to be seen whether or not he can be that franchise guy, but he's made of the right stuff. The Bills picked Kiko Alonso and EJ Manuel with the #8 pick and people whine about the QB because they read stuff by draft gurus that said he was a 3rd rounder. My brother was contemplating getting an EJ jersey at the beginning of the season. He's older by 7 years (and has been a Bills fan much longer than me), but I already seem to be much more cynical as a sports fan. I cautioned him that EJ is nowhere near a sure thing. He said "I know, but if EJ's going all out, I should go all out."

I agree with you that it's not smart to be pass happy, but if you're not even going to try to pick up the third down and win the game right there then why should you ever trust your QB to make the throw?

I'm sure guys like him have to deal with this BS all the time when drinking in enemy territory (although I think Lucic is from somewhere around the area). It just sucks that they gotta be taped now.

When have we ran it straight at a team when they knew it was coming and gotten more than a couple of yards? It appears to me that our RBs get most of their yards when our offense is varied and clicking. And Woody, I agree on the ST being terrible. We've probably been called for some sort of penalty on 75% of punt returns that weren't fair caught.

We don't have the offensive line to power run, not even close. We pissed away a game while we were still in playoff contention because of conservative play.. You're basically not even trying to win the game with the 4 minute offense at that point, you're just accepting that you're giving the ball back. I want to see some indication that these coaches have it, but they're still terrified to make mistakes even after the season is lost.

The Bills offense had a great drive where EJ hit a lot of throws to go up 27-20. Then the other team has like a 7-8 minute drive that ends in a Gilmore int. The Bills get the ball back with a little less than 4 minutes left and Hackett calls three straight running plays. They took the ball out of EJ's hands at a time when he was playing the best. I saw the team throw on 2nd and 3rd down unnecessarily with Tuel under center. Why don't they trust EJ? Marrone and Hackett deserved the L right there for that. Luckily for them the defense strangled Jacksonville at the end.

How can you hate the guy? The way he fails is just so lovable. Nice to see EJ have a good game. Our coaches (Marrone and Hackett) are still way too conservative and have learned nothing from the Atlanta game.
