I'll be taking my 3 year old today for his first Sabres game. Guessing we'll last a period but that's what he preseason is for. Go Sabres.

I have been saying for years now that as long as Jacob Bryson is on this team they will not make the playoffs. I am still completely ***** baffled why he was re-signed in March of 2025 when the Sabres were last in the Division. The team couldn't be any worse and you're already re-signing fringe depth pieces instead of even exploring improving that area? It's such a joke.

It blows my mind there's talk of Adams being promoted into another role. Jesus ***** Christ. I wish I could suck so badly and my job and fail upwards.

We are so overdue for a goalie doing the lightning in a bottle thing. We need a guy who steals a few games. It's our turn.

I'm surprised Adams didn't kick the tires on Carter Hart, now that his suspension has been lifted. I'm personally not advocating for him, despite being found not guilty, but I'm surprised GMKM didn't make a desperation move to save his job.

I was looking at betting odds today about the Sabres qualifying for the playoffs and I was surprised to see they're only +210 to make the playoffs, which are not strong enough for me to consider placing a bet on. Meanwhile, the Blackhawks are +1700 . I Are the Sabres that much better than the Hawks?

Tuch is 29, I don't think I'd want an 8 year deal for him.

I wish a reported would ask him something along the lines of, "Your mantra the past 5 years has been to get a better every day, and yet the opposite has been happening. The team has been getting worse under your leadership. Why do you think this year is any different?"

I've seen a lot of articles/talk about who needs to step up this year to turn things around and I've noticed Powers has been absent from most of those lists. If he can't get it together in the defensive zone we're going to have problems. I've been patient with him since he came into the league at such a young age, but now's the time for him to take a leap.

The team needs to learn how to get both the puck and the players moving once they establish possession. They all seemed to stand still once they got the puck and just passed it around the perimeter before eventually taking a low % shot. I can't believe Tage only had 7 PP goals last season, that needs to increase. It seems like teams figured the guy covering him could cheat a little bit knowing the Sabres players really don't move around a lot. I wouldn't mind seeing Tage and Kulich on both walls and Dahlin can help cycle the puck to open up some space for one of those guys to start ripping one timers.

It's your lowest point of Sabres fandom...yet. It was about 5 or 6 years ago I discovered that rock bottom isn't a place, it's a state of mind, and this team will always find a way to plunge further down into they abyss. Anyways, go Sabres!

Dahlin and Power both advocated to keep him on when Granato was let go, apparently they really like him... I think it's busch league that GMKA lets his players dictate the coaching staff after years of failure but here we are.

The difference between the two is that Bryson REALLY wants to be here (because he knows no other team would take him).

The difference being they didn't just trade to acquire the player. I'm hoping this is a nothing burger and they have a deal in place and will have this inked tomorrow, I'll keep the pitch fork corked for now. I have been saying for years that as long as Bryson is on this team they are not a playoff roster, and my jimmies are still rustled from that signing earlier this year.

Adam's pays for how he wants players to perform, not for how they actually produce.
