The only thing I really miss about Eichel was his ability to find the space to pass across the ice through 3 defenders, right on VOs stick.

Tage Thompson revenge game incoming. I've noticed that teams are making a very visible effort to contain Tage on the PP when he's lined up on the wall. I can't remember the last time he's gotten a clean one-timer off. If I were in charge of the power play I'd roll VO out on the same unit. If the other team is going to have someone stapled to Tage that should let VO get some extra space to tee off.

The three points we left to Philly and Chicago are really itching my ass right now.

Chychrun feels too expensive for my taste, plus I'm more interested in us finding another Samuelsson type player to balance out Dahlin/Power. The type of player who doesn't have a sexy game but plays sound foundational defense (also the type of player who doesn't make the big $$$). I have always liked Crouse's game, he's always stuck out to me when we play them.

Thompson has 1 goal in his last 7 (and only 3 assists). Need him to rekindle that magic and start racking up points again.
