  1. I'm hoping Willander drops. ASP doesn't fit well in the org, there's no power play time available, smallish, meh defensively. I think it might be Moore. The organization loves skating ability and hockey IQ and Moore is at the top of those lists.
  2. addition by subtraction. any asset would be an improvement, whether a young guy like Kulich or a draft pick. vinnie at least provides speed, veteran presence, and effort, unlike VO. Replacing him with Kulich, even as a young rookie you don't lose much if anything.
  3. i mean, idc that much. guy's gotta go.
  4. Yea, thanks, that distills the point. KO's production is down, but he is unquestionably a major part of the mindset that has brought so many young players so far. If he wants to come back and KA says no, as a player, does that kills the vibes? Does making our young core understand that production outweigh leadership/effort result in a net negative?
  5. Kyle has been a good soldier, a hard worker, the captain, occasional game-changer, and a major contributor to the vibes. At this point, however, on ice, he's standing in the way of players with greater future potential, and seems to be slowing down/has lost a step. If he wants to play another year, what would you do if you were Kevin Adams?
  6. If he is on the roster by the opening game I will change my GM grade from an A to a C. That is all
  7. A. Unpopular. Jost was a gem for a waivver pickup. Stillman bumped down Bryson and Clague. Greenway has been ok, and has shown spurts of what he can do. All upgrades picked up without giving up anything of tangible value. PP and PK were not great. PK showed improvement over the last 20, PP needs some innovation. Teams have picked up on the 1 timer (in January). Needs improvement. MVP...lots of candidates but I'll go Tuch. Best overall forward. great on the PK, drives line 1 from the wing, best forechecker, over 30 goals...tough to beat all that. ROY...Power. love all the rookies, but playing 20+ minutes as a defenseman regardless of competition and jumping in on offense as he did, without a lot of ***** plays...he's scary MIP...Cozens. Line driver, scorer, jumps into the mix when necessary, 30 goals easy call. went from a maybe to a stud. Unsung hero...this is a hard one becuase i watch nearly all the games and follow the team closely....but maybe girgensons? not a lot of stats but makes a difference most shifts. plays hard, answers the bell, turns momentum frequently. not things headline readers or scoreboard watchers would see, but most really invested fans would
  8. If Adams signed him to a bridge deal he'd actually deserve the silly low marks he got in the season grades thread. Power is a cornerstone for this Sabres generation.
  9. If he was signing with the Sabres he would have done it already once the Sabres were eliminated to get a meaningless game or two in to burn a year of the ELC . Not doing so, the obvious read is that he isn't signing.
  10. aww, c'mon, did you have to move this? There was at least some interest in the gdt...
  11. As John Forslund, better known, since his days in Hartford, as John ######, (see WCCC, Sebastian show, also better known as the first major station to carry Stern) Is doing play by play for Versus, And does PbP for the Carolina Divercanes, ###### should be removed from the filters of this board, and be allowed as an sppropriate moniker for this anti-Sabre piece of crap.
