Would Vanek have made them that much better? It's all hindsight at this point. Ummm...I'm not sure what exactly is going on but it appears Edmonton traded Hall to NJ Devils for D-man, Adam Larsson, NASHVILLE traded SHea Weber to Montreal for PK Subban and Stamkos is staying in Tampa....all per www.reddit.com/r/hockey Not sure it it all belongs here but the moves do affect the Free Agent Market.

On WGR they're saying reports are coming out the Buffalo is going "all in" on Stamkos and speculation is they're offering him $12 million per year.

This pleases me. If all goes to plan that's one less top-6 forward we need to worry about protecting in the expansion draft as he'll be on an ELC.
