I think you've written this a couple of times, can you provide a link to some form of evidence? It seems unlikely that this (a) happened and (b) could have been measured in the short time span.

That first line is a legit 1.75th line, if that second line works out to be a legit second line, This team could be fearsomely middling this year.

They are investing in neighboring countries. I believe the UAE were some of the more significant donors to the Sunni Political parties in Iraq.

We've got a team in blue and gold Fifteen miles on the Erie Canal We're with them through the snow and cold Fifteen miles on the Erie Canal We've seen some big ones in our day Scored by Patty, Gil, and May And every inch of the way will Go To bring that Cup to Buffalo Chorus: Low bridge, everybody down Low bridge cause we're coming to a town And you'll always love your Sabres And you'll always know your pals If you've ever navigated on the Erie Canal

It could be argued that building indoor ski slopes (economically diversifying the region) is an act of attempting to stabilize the region. Of course, it would go a lot further if the gains were a little more well distributed and didn't rely on essentially indentured servants from south Asia.

I have no objection to any attempts to bury them alive.

"Reports of my demise were greatly exaggerated."

The Orioles are not making Price throw enough pitches. They just need to get to the Bullpen (which may be the only thing in Detroit that is a bigger disaster than their Municipal Finances).
-
This is what EJ fails at. He might now make bad pick six plays, but he is also never going to throw for 300 yards. Orton will cost you games, but he'll actually help you win them occasionally as well.

I'm gonna go ahead an Billieve. If Ohio State can win a National Championship with 6 or 7 victories that should have been losses, why not the Bills.

Great stuff as always, NS. ======================= He'll face charges in Liberia if he survives.

If the faith cannot be divided, then the entire faith has a huge problem. And yes, oil protects many monsters.

Maybe it's time to stop talking about the religion as a monolithic thing. There is a huge difference between the many Christian religions. Some have very terrible elements that are a part of the faith (My Catholicism included). The brand of Islam practiced by the majority in that nation calls for the systematic denial of women's rights beyond even that of the Catholic Church. They should face at least the same scrutiny Rome does as a faith, probably more.
-
But we need to be able to talk about how terribly backward the majority opinion is in these countries. We shouldn't have to write a disclaimer when we say, "Islamic clerical leaders in Saudi Arabia perpetuate terrible repression and violence against women and are widely supported by the General public in this endeavor." That statement is a complete fact with very little context needed. This religion, as practiced by the majority of that country, perpetuates the violation of civil and human rights on a daily basis. Much like the Catholic Church is taken to task by its handling of child abuse. I don't care if it's not a correct reading of, or is antithetic to the Faith: if the problem is that wide spread, and that pervasive, It's a big problem for all the faithful. (this may have come across a little more preachy and angry than I anticipated. Not my intention.)

The Tiger's bullpen is a trainwreck. A total trainwreck.

Not sure if I've told this story before, but during the Philly series in 2011, as one of the games slipped away from the team, my son (3 years old at the time) announced he was going to be a Flyers fan for the rest of the game. I looked him right in the eyes and said, "That's fine, LittleCaseofEmotion, you can root for whatever team you want, that's your choice to make. But," as I stood up, walked over, and opened the front door, "you're going to have to find somewhere else to live." He looked at me stunned for a second, and then looked over to my wife, who absolutely NEVER plays along when I'm messing with the kids. She looked right at him and says, "Sorry, he's right." little guy looked at the front door and burst into the biggest, saddest tears you've ever seen. I have never loved my wife more than in that moment.- 62 replies

This is the way you do it (as opposed to the terrible idea of actually allowing your child to consider wearing Canes colors tonight.)

Last night was awesome. Equally as important as scoring some runs without just hitting homers. The orioles beat the reigning Cy Young winner out-right. The Snowman they hung on them in the 8th was just running up the score. Fear the Bird.

Ink, don't underestimate the power of the pregnancy hormone cluster ######. Ppd is very very very real. It does get better over time, but I'd encourage here to tell her OB about her emotions at her checkup next week.

I didn't include November because the splits I was looking at were by month so I could parse it. But I think there is a legitimate argument that January and February is more likely the real reflection of that roster with Nolan than Nov/dec.

Here's a nightmare for ya: There's a good chance for rare October tornadoes in Dallas tonight. What if one hits the isolation unit, or the quarantined apartment? The made for TV movie Ebolanado is going to be amazing.
