I hate it when I get Ebola in Macaque.

Kassian stands taller in the pocket, but I think EJ does a better job finding time and space.

8 people? He didn't get here from Liberia in a Civic. He exposed at least 300 people before he even went through customs. And by the way. ###### medical privacy laws right now. ###### them good and hard.

Naw, he's 24 and came from the NCAA, so he can go to the 'Merks. The problem is he signed his entry level at 22 and has played 70 NHL equivalent games, so he's have to clear waivers. I expect the panthers would pick him up as a gimmick to try and fill the stands withe a local boy on the roster. It sucks, but the CBA is what it is, I suppose.

Well. ######.

Not even close to analogous. The Seahawks had only missed the playoffs twice, and before that had won 4 playoff games in 3 years, including a trip to the superbowl in 2005. They also went 7-9 the following year. The analogy, i guess, is that they didn't actually get better until they figured out the quarterback thing.

exactly 7-10 >>>> 6-10
-
This team is only making the playoffs if they get lucky and finish 7-9 and all the stars align.

Fair enough. I'm glad there are people watch dogging the multibillion dollar monopoly with massive social influence, but I can also understand just wanting to be entertained. That's how I feel about Notre Dame.

Wouldn't be surprised to see TSN or NBCSports buy them.

Side note: capgeek added waiver status to their roster lists. Because capgeek is awesome.

[1] I'm pretty sure the contention is that the league recognized that it WAS something, and thus made a statement, not that the league was making it into something. [2] Tank made almost EXACTLY this statement, yet you find objection: [3] If there are things actually worth attacking the league over, "witch hunt" may be a poor descriptor.

does not matter, at all, merely a point-of-order on logic on an internet message board. I saw an inconsistency in the argument, and was confused.

- I don't understand how you could argue he was penalized for going to his knees, but not the slide, which is how he got to his knees. - I don't understand how you could minimize the NFL's history and just assume everything was on the up and up here, right out of the gate

I guess it's ok as long as you have a safety word. -

You will now be forced to watch a bad team play meaningless games throughout the Holiday Season. I'm gonna have to check the Geneva Convention on this one, but I think the FCC may have just committed a war crime. -
Which is weird, because the NFL rarely gives the public reason to be skeptical of their motives.
-
I think he was penalized for the 5-yard slide on his knees, not the bow. The ref is reaching for the flag well before he has a chance to figure out what he's doing when he bows down.

You're right. Poverty is not the cause of terrorism. Terrorism is a cocktail. Poverty is just the glass that holds it. The problem is, we can keep going around dumping the glass out, but as long as we keep leaving it on the table, some nutjob will always be around to fill it back up.

Awesome. I was 72 hours away from naming our third child Cal. He ended up being named after my Wife's Uncle who unexpectedly passed away a few days before he was born.
-
I imagine being around O's fans a lot can be incredibly annoying regarding Cal, Jr. Billy is more comic relief than ballplayer in my book. To the bold, yeah, ##### that guy.
-
he's like the third or fourth case like that. All the others turned up "negative" if the CDC is to be believed.

My brother and I used to make appointment television when the Cards would play the Cubs or Braves on WGN or TBS just to see him play. Sick sick sick.

We had unconditional surrender from the Germans 20 years earlier. It didn't stop them from falling for Hitler as soon as the world economy hit the skids again. We took that surrender and punished them, made them even more poor and unstable. Sorry HF, on this one, you are incorrect.
