  1. And that in the timespan of this outbreak, 10x as many people died of malaria in Africa than Ebola. And also that we have less than 3% of the Near Earth Asteroids properly tracked. And also that there is a giant overdue supervolcano sitting in the middle of the country just waiting to come in unannounced and kill everybody.
  2. Extrapolating December through February, we paced at 182 goals for the season as compared with the 157 we actually scored. Still DFL, but that's 25 additional goals without improving that roster. If you look at just Feburary, when the Sabres had a couple months under Nolan and hadn't dismantled the roster yet, they we're 13th in the NHL in GF/G. seeing these numbers, I think you're right, it's important to remember that the March 6th Roster was significantly worse than it is now, but still affected last year's aggregate numbers. This team could easily score between 200 and 210 goals this year. Still not nearly good enough for the playoffs, especially with questions in goal.
  3. I'll come too! I can bring the Ebola.
  4. Yeah. To me it just feels like a forced tiebreaker game. I like it and I think it makes good entertainment, but it's not the playoffs.
  5. He vomited in the hallway of the apartment building. No one knows who cleaned it up. Ugh...
  6. That is a really good point you make there, Matrix. I don't understand why the largest conservative donors insist on being secretive about their political donations, while the largest liberal donors, the unions, seem to have no problem being open with the public. You've been making a lot of really good points lately, backed by sound evidence, nice work, we might make a democrat out of you yet!
  7. I'm mostly excited because the Roster at the end of last year was incapable of doing these things, even in the preseason.
  8. One key difference is that influenza is concentrated in the membranes of the lungs (Ebola is not) and the flu makes you sneeze and cough the virus directly out in large doses. Ebola isn't quite there (yet)
  9. It says you still need contact with the fluids, just that those fluids can move through the air.
  10. But that can't as easily be abused by the opposing manager.
  11. Auto walk does not give the hole batter a chance to warm up. I also like that the 4 pitchouts makes the team think about what they're deciding to do.
  12. Now the official number is 12-18 including 5 children that attend 4 different schools. But don't worry, you can only become infected if you come in contact with sweat, blood, urine, vomit, or feces of an infected person. I have a 1st grader and a three year old who attend schools. I have absolutely no Idea who's sweat, blood, urine, vomit, or feces I've come in contact with in the past week. And so it begins...
  13. I may have been thinking baseball...
  14. minimum 2 weeks, can be retroactive to first game missed.
  15. ^Outstanding.
  16. The networks get approximately the same number of commercials regardless of the pace of play. Every half inning and pitching change. Even if the action between those sped up, the same amount of ad time would be sold. Man, they responded quickly to my suggestions. Good on them. :)
  17. I would be greatly in favor of allowing the Umpire, at his discretion, warn and then penalize with a balk or out, a pitcher or batter using the step off/out as a method of delaying the game. Try it out in Spring Ball, then implement it the following year. The broadcasters would LOVE it.
  18. And in those 4 days, including a trip to the hospital, he only came in contact with 8 people? Bull ######
  19. Single-sac-steal-sac Baseball.
  20. Honored beyond words. ^Can anyone confirm if this is the first time in the history of the world that a Somali immigrant family has been described as "privileged"? And Matrix, thank you for providing evidence for my argument. I'm honestly to busy right now to look up great articles like this that show the links between terrorism and poverty/powerlessness, especially those factors' ability to follow families through migration and generations.
  21. So you're saying it's not Marfan, it's Ebola?
  22. Texans aren't people.
  23. Great, so now we've got Ebola and cholera, malaria, and flu are picketing outside hospitals? This sucks. Exactly, all you have to do is avoid pigs and air (and macaque)
  24. Not cover manifest. I manifest fear in humor. Time to mover the border fence from the Rio Grande to the Mississippi.
