I think we are more challenged than most teams in regards to attracting top FAs. Instability behind the bench and underwhelming recent seasons being the primary reasons. I think there is a perceived lack of direction as well.

Almost non-existent if you don't want to join a club. Only other pay as you go range in WNY that I can think of is the Firing Pin in Bergen. In a pinch there are semi-formal shooting lanes set up in the public land of the Alabama Swamp on Bartel Road, but the demand is high and you may have to wait for a group to clear. It's pretty high use, especially on weekends. Bonus, you may see eagles while out there.

Make sure you stop in at Silver Lake Brewing Company in Perry too.

StL was the first team I ever saw Buffalo play live as a child. They have had my rooting interest ever since. I’ll cheer for them over those gat damn, no good, puck kicking cheaters any day, draft pick be damned.

Anyone rooting against the Canes has to be rooting against the Stars, right? I mean, Dallas cheated their way to a Cup at our expense. At least Carolina earned it fair and square, even if they didn’t get our best.

Donald J Trump, your thoughts on his Presidency

Latest output from the Tweeter in Chief had US tariffs on Chinese goods raising to 25% for more items. This guy has no understanding of how economics works. He’s already affected my employer to the tune of 20% of sales revenue, and its resulted in one layoff already. Here comes another “stimulus”. Trump hasn’t figured out yet that China doesn’t pay the tariif. We do, in the form of higher prices. And that tariff will be met by a counter tariff in China, which will result in lower market share of our products over there. This is not protecting US jobs. It is costing them. -
I am not ashamed to use an obscure Mexican battle to justify drinking tequila and eating Mexican food. And May 5 might be the latest I’ve ever gotten the deck set up for the season. Nonetheless, the deck is set up and a solid day drinking buzz has been obtained.

It's kind of weird that the one thing you felt strongly enough to single out in a negative way was the women scene. I guess we all have our triggers.

Regarding your first question, the internet seems to think that was a callout to the original Iron Man movie. Who knows, re: the second.

Schadenfreude. I really couldn't care less about Carolina. Total apathy.

That's a big print. Dew claw impressions mean very soft soil or a very heavy deer. I'm putting the kayak on a local lake tomorrow AM. Had the kayak out once earlier this Spring on a Lake Ontario tributary for steelhead when we had a warm spell and the creek was warm(ish). The lake is probably going to be a bit colder than I'd like but I am dying to set the hook on something. It's walleye opening weekend, I'd like to put some fillets in the freezer.

I wonder if it’s not money per se that they are looking for, maybe they are looking for a commitment to grow the league?

I agree with Pi. Something must be wrong with my life. On the Day of Reason, no less.

This mindest would be a breath of fresh air.

Given where we are today, how could anyone not suggest BPA? Just get some friggin talent in hte door.

This is where I am at. Open to the idea, not a damned thing I’d put on there for the rest of my life. Old fat guys and new ink doesn’t really work anyway.

Ok, where is he relative to his competition today? He’s put up great numbers.

I thought the Ultron character was bad. Like, Kylo Ren bad. -
Marty Brodeur won the Calder in 93-94 with a 27-11-8 2.40 9.15 record. Tom Barrasso won the Calder in 83-84 going 26-12-3 2.85 .893. 24-5-0-1 and 1.89 .927 is a little light on games historically, but the record and stats are gaudy by Calder standards.

My understanding was that Rochester was maybe the deepest team in the league. They didn't lack talent. They just didn't perform in the crunch.

It read to me like a spontaneous, emotional, in the moment tweet. Solid meh from me. And its a friggin movie afterall. One I haven’t seen yet and still intend to. Won’t ruin it for me in the slightest. If anything, it’ll have me asking, is it happening now?

He's coached in the OHL, so he does have a background developing young players. He's coached teams with a pretty good mix of young and old. There is two boxes checked. I don't really care what name the coach uses for his signature. I do care that whoever is signed is given explicit instruction that the timeframe to win games is immediately.
