Mincing words a little bit. Jack has more value than Sam, for sure. However, for multiple reasons it will be easier to het full value in a trade for Sam than it will be for Jack. Two reasons. 1. Jack does have an injury that adds risk to the trading team and 2. A full value trade for Jack will require several high end assets coming back. Teams will be reluctant to part with that many high end assets. In the end I think Jack still returns almost twice the value that Sam will return

I’m a lefty. And I’m a former DEC hunter safety instructor. I preached, and live by, use of a safety. This is where comfort and preference really come into play. A safety is an afterthought (if present at all) in most of the striker fired pistols out there. Safeties seem to be somewhat controversial on defensive pistols. But I don’t have a comfort level not using a safety. Being left handed really limits my options as I simply cannot work a safety with my left hand on most striker fired handguns. So I gravitate towards hammer fired guns, especially if they are ambidextrous. Comfort is king here.

I’m a Sig fan and prefer the 1911 format for many of the reasons you stated above. Love my P938 and P238. They are a very comfortable carry and in a format I am very familiar with. But single action is def not for everyone, and probably not a good choice for anyone starting out. Yeah, try out a bunch and see what feels comfortable. That’s where your decision should start.

Nowhere is there a report or quote indicating that KA is concerned enough about Jacks injury that he is looking to move him. You are projecting that part.

It seems to me you are ignoring or downplaying actual spoken words and creating another version of events that match your expectations.

I don’t know how you can think the injury is the primary driver after hearing Jacks words and KAs repeated references to having players that want to be here.

IMO it requires some level of physical activity (not necessarily exertion). So brain games don’t count. And if it is subjective in an way, not a sport. So by my definition auto racing, horse racing, darts, fishing, hunting qualify. Spelling bees don’t. Video games probably do under my definition but I feel icky about it.

Such a personal choice there. Hard to not choose a Glock though. Solid reputation and they pretty much changed the industry with their design. Lots of sizes to pick from. Id seriously recommend starting with a 22lr first though. Spend a year with it getting the basics down then pick up your big gun. I like to choose the same format .22 as the big gun. I think that has been Perrault’s point all along when saying we need a tougher team. You described what is needed more thoroughly though, players who are equipped to play the way the playoffs get played and called.

I’m too chicken ***** to try. Last weekend I had to crawl out onto the bow to remove a hook from my anchor trolley. I did manage to keep everything topside dry so it is pretty stable.

Oh hell yeah. There is no reason for KA to go into this writing off next season. ***** some theoretical timeline. Get players that will turn the team into KAs vision. Make this ***** work tomorrow, not at some future date.
