I’ve been a Dodgers fan my whole life. Other than a magical season with Orel Hersheiser on the mound, they’ve been a team that couldn’t get over the hump. They had a 90s Bills vibe going until last season. Just couldn’t rise up in the biggest moments, and add in the Astros cheating scandal. I know they are huge spenders but they have been snakebit for so long.

I suspect the opinions regarding Harrington and Hamilton will change when the team’s performance changes. My thought all along was that we criticized because we didn’t like the opinions given, but we characterized them as bad opinions because they were counter to what alot of the fans wanted to hear.

I suspect having only 2 A’s is because the roster is so young and none of them have really demonstrated readiness for a leadership role. Maybe that changes midseason.

You're lousy track record calling contenders troubles me here.

I’ve repeated it several times, Darcy Regier was quoted in an interview as saying his plan was to replace 1/3 of the roster every season.

Would be interesting to find out that Jack was drafted by the one organization he doesn’t respect because of community bias. I would think that excitement over achieving your dreams would overcome that, but we’ve seen players in multiple sports refuse to play for the team that drafted them.

I can’t envision another player on this roster that could live up to the expectations of captain.

Hope is all we have. Faith is long gone. Regardless, patting yourself on the back for predicting a lineup with so little to offer isn’t exactly genius.
