  1. I believe the Panthers third goal Dahlin was up at our blue line heading out with three panther players still in the zone. Knowing when too jump in the rush is very difficult and the elite Dmen do it the best. NOT Dahlin….Panthers scored!
  2. Something has to happen with him. He makes mistakes my DIII kid doesn’t make. Game after game. I know it will hurt everyone’s ego, dahlias, Sabres, scouts, etc but it’s time he went down to Rochester to fix his game.
  3. Dahlin might not be good enough to play for an ECHL team right now. He is just brutal!
  4. Zionsville Indiana, suburb north of Indianapolis for 30 yrs. Born and raised in Cheektowaga, NY.
  5. Is there anybody on this board who can honestly say they want cancer? Maybe if you have a death wish. John is a form of Cancer. I for one am glad we exercised this cancer from the organization. All the money in the world right now is not making this self centered athlete happy. Hope he rots on the vine while counting his Benjamin's
  6. Maybe getting rid of John Eichel we can actually start some team building
  7. John is a rare talent but I feel he has proven he doesn’t fit the Team first concept that is needed to win. He isn’t Crosby or McKinnon. I would take a player on the Sabres with 10% less talent and the team first attitude, that is humble and has a work ethic like Josh Allen has any day. A bad Sabres team or not, John could have had this town eating out of his hand for life aka Jim Kelly, Ryan Miller, Gilbert, Josh Allen. I would pay to see the product put on display tonight with out that rare talented player! I love hockey it’s the ultimate Team sport
  8. I am pleading ignorance here. I didn’t get the peeling banana insult. Please explain and thanks.
  9. Is it even possible that Lehner remembers where the rink is for Cripes sake. Between his fragile mental faculties and weekly benders while on the team I firmly believe he is filling in the blanks about his time here, the organization or where Buffalo is on the map for goodness sakes. This guy needs some more therapy. Someone other than Biz to talk to.
  10. While this whole situation has been nothing but a black eye for the Sabres organization. I am firmly in KA’s corner in dealing with Eichel! There will be no deal ever, ever worse than the ROR trade and its great to see some back bone by the Sabres management. As bad as this has been for us, Eichel’s reputation has taken a beating and his career is wasting away! Yes it doesn’t help the Sabres but at least we learned a hard lesson via the ROR fiasco! Look out for #1….that’s the team not some whining B*#€%h!
  11. The time frame Lehner is speaking out about it needs to be remembered that he was in the bag half the time. He has admitted himself that time frame he didn’t know what country he was in let alone games or practices he participated in without being high!
  12. I will always root for the Crest on the front and NOT the name on the back! It may not be fun now but what goes around comes around. Raymond Bourque was a Bruin for 21 yrs and they pretty much stunk that entire time.
  13. Picking the “Right” Captain is going to be crucial in setting the tone for the organization for turning the culture around!
  14. it is important to consider that public financing is largely helping billionaires pay less for a service that they can afford. This dangerous precedent is an unnecessary privilege rather than a necessity. These sports teams are supported by successful owners who are capable of funding stadiums themselves. The owners will be compensated handsomely through the profits received through ticket sales, corporate advertising, and concessions over the next several decades. Public subsidies are an unfortunate power play used by these influential teams on local communities that are emotionally attached to sports teams, and a shift to making these projects private is going to be important moving forward. quoted from a great article https://econreview.berkeley.edu/the-economics-of-sports-stadiums-does-public-financing-of-sports-stadiums-create-local-economic-growth-or-just-help-billionaires-improve-their-profit-margin/
  15. I have not been to Rich Stadium, The Ralph or whatever it’s called now in over ten years. I know it had some renovations done to it a few years back but is it really falling apart? Have sight lines gone to hell? Is all the road salt eating away at the concrete which is undermining the integrity of the structure? Do they not sell expensive beer there? Is there no parking? Did they get rid of the suites? What’s the problem with it.? In all actuality when buildings get old and paid for like Holiday Twin Rinks or a rental duplex or a forty year old factory that has the mortgage paid off then they become money makers. So really what’s the issue with it?
  16. the same thing was said when we sign Okposo and skinner. Cap hits are always at the forefront of today’s NHL and this was too much.
  17. Like McCabes style of defense and wish we could have kept him but injuries and this cap hit are a bit much
  18. At #6 Carolina the Kraken take Jake Bean. A young stud on defense and I think he is just coming off his rookie contract.
  19. What is going on with McCabe. Before he got injured I thought he was having a very strong year. Any update on his injury and contract. Would hate to lose him to the Sea Monsters!
  20. Agree with all but the last. Defense wins Championships! We gave up Tyler Meyers far too quick. Smooth skating puck handling big Dmen are hard to come by
  21. Agree. This interview along with his exit interview makes my firmly believe that Jack thinks of Jack first and foremost. Yes he is extremely talented but not the type of player I build my team around.
