Agree 100% . We need to change the culture once and for all! Management needs to take a stand and say if your not proud to put the Buffalo Sweater on then we don’t want you. McDermott and Beane apply this philosophy and it’s worked for the Bills. Eichel has been the most disappointing Captain in Sabres history in my humble opinion. When he was healthy he was unable to elevate the status of his surrounding teammates. Isn’t that was great players do....are we not paying him great player money? I hope the door doesn’t hit him in the ARSsss on the way out.

Dahlin does not have great defensive skills. Your definition of defensive skills is obviously different than mine. Being able to play a 2 on 1 is your basic skill set which he lacks. He is consistently on the wrong side of the puck in the D zone and the list goes on.

Oh you are quite wrong. You have taken this out of context. RK was in my opinion ensconced in the HC position and if that’s the case Dahlin needed a change of scenery to build back his confidence. No where did I state “ Trade him right F€£”;/-& G Now! Coaches can make or break a players and by the way Dahlin still needs to learn to be a better defender. If you can find me a young defenseman with Dahlin’s offensive skills and McCabes defending....that my friend is a #1 pick. and of course when his contract is renewed we will do as we always do....Overpay him!

Almost always due they fuse and plate neck issues. Its almost a minor surgery now, 90 mins with a dewalt drill!

Hockey injury to me, Dang Beer league. Shoved into the boards from behind. Shattered disc. So they cut you open, vacuum it out, put some bone marrow in and plate and screw it. No problem since. Payton Manning has had it done four times. But long term its an issue. Like driving a car and no shock absorbers

One BIG variable not taken into account is the overall failure rate of the NHL Draft. The draft as a whole has a bust rate of over 80% when looked at in it’s entirety. The main issue is age, they are scouting 16 yr olds. In other pro sports players declare when they are ready. We are drafting/ scouting players who haven’t even hit puberty. Look no further that the Sean Day fiascos. At 14 he played for Compuware and was a beast. He was considered the second coming of Chris Pronger! He was given exceptional status and that usually is a straight arrow to number one draft pick! As he grew he lost interest, got slow and fat! He was under the microscope of every nhl scouting department for years! Who did that work out? I NHL could’ve change things this year and made a huge ripple effect in hockey .....change the draft to 20-year-olds! But the OHL mucked that up.

He was at fault! On the game tying goal he was stationary in front of Ulmark . When the pass came over to the flyer player four feet in front of Dahlin, a bantam AAA dman would know to jump out and put pressure. He doubts himself at every phase of the game

On TSN Sports They were just talking about the Pegulas. nobody in the NHL or other players whine about the Sabres organization being penny pinchers that they don’t treat players well , they are involved in the community that they give back to community! the only thing they don’t do for the Buffalonians is Win Baby,

He needs to stay in the AHL until he dominates! I’m not talking a year or two. This kids play is so horrific that he needs a long term assignment if the Sabres are to salvage this kid

When everyone, including the media whine about ownership the conveniently forgot these are the same owners of the Buffalo Bills! Bills organization is glowing talked about on every media publication and on the airwaves from the east coast to the west as the shining example of how a winning organization should be built. Well aren’t these the same owners? What the Pegulas know how to run football and not hockey? it’s called business and he is a very successful business man.
