Up until a few or more seasons ago the Sabres record with him in the lineup was awful. They always seemed to win when he played in his early portion of his Sabres career. Good honest player.

It's time for a change in net and the time is right. If Vanek goes then a new core can be made and the team starts fresh. Get a good gm and a good coach and start anew. Miller didn't deserve what the fans gave him especially when the goals came of our skates. Fans get frustrated and so be it but booing a goalie for own goals is wrong. He will be moved and Enroth along with a veteran backup can carry the load. Or maybe Luongo comes, I don't know. But it's time for a complete remodel. His voice needs to go. Who cares what happens elsewhere? That means nothing. Love sweater, not the player.

obviously the Sabres need to win in regulation. Obviously it's nice they are trying, as always when it's too late, but Nyr has the easiest sled in the NHL left and Peg is on fire and completely own is too. I'm driving to vancity today for a funeral but hopefully y'all enjoy the game.

Could the Sabres do this? Playing all the teams they are fighting to pass. I mean could they really do this? Naaaaaaaa

Poor Zack Kassian. He's young and already has quite the receding hairline but what made it worse was David Backes made sure everyone knows it. For those who didn't see it, there was a scrum late in the third and while in the box Backes was yelling to ZK, "you're bald, you're bald" over and over. Now back in my sports playing days I will admit to talking that way to my opponents, but I was younger and I was NOT a professional hockey player. While it was funny it was also very weak and made Backes look foolish.

This game has sealed the fate of this team. Anyone thinking playoffs were coming well.... -

is anyone torn when we win? Clearly it's not over but we really would be better served if we lost out. Gotta say I love when we beat the sens. If buffalo goes 8 for 8 in their home games then we should make it. Can they? -
Clowe is a great player. The Canucks were in on him and he even said he'd be happy to play for them as early as 2 days ago. But if Buffalo could get him, they should. We definitely need some more jam in our lineup. As for the trade today. Reiger did fleece Minny for sure. Pommers is a good player but this trade really is a good move by the Sabres.

Not sure how it is in other markets but how often do you hear from from owners unless they are media whores like Jerry Jones or Mark Cuban? In Vancouver I couldn't tell you the last time I heard from the Canucks owner. I don't really think the owner need to speak unless he feels the need to. He has people who do that for him. There will be a time when he speaks but it's not alarming that we haven't heard from TP

It's funny looking at all the negative posts. Concerned about our d for the rest of this mini season? Why? If any year you want to suck, it's in a shortened season. Reload, retool and start fresh next year with a new coach and new outlook. Regher didn't really play like be did when I saw him play against the nucks. In fact, he was somewhat of a disappointment if you ask me. Much like the team.

If the Sabres can get Bernier out of LA then I say do it. The kid can play and he can't in LA. That would allow a Miller trade somewhere else and free up some cash too. Not sure how it can be done, but getting a goalie like Bernier would be a very sweet move by Buffalo. I just hope they drop the interim coach immediately after the season ends and get someone behind the bench who will right this ship.

Just finished waxing my 2012 Kia Rio and did so sipping on a Tree Brewing "Thirsty Beaver" amber ale. Ahhhhhhh
-
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but Kass has had a bad back and missed 8 of 9 games so its probably a good opp to get him some game action and not affect the big club.

Maybe that's why rr put coho on the 4th line tonight. Couldn't send down the team's leading scorer (who was in the lineup) so they put him with Scott and Kaleta. What a joke.
-
I was wondering what that was all about. Seriously, coho may have his deficiencies but that is just a complete waste. It's almost like telling the opposition that you aren't really trying to win.
-
Yes he played poorly on the road bit the team didn't score!!!!! You can't blame a goalie when the team gets 8 goals for and still wins 3. He won them 2 games with 1 zip wins.

Lets recap the Stanley cup scores where Luo choked away the Cup. Canucks 1- bruins 0 Canucks 3 - bruins 2 Bruins 8-Canucks 1 Bruins 4- Canucks 0 Canucks 1 - bruins 0 Bruins 5. - Canucks 2 Bruins 4 - Canucks 0 So Lou gets 2 shutouts and an OT win. In the 3 wins he let in 2 goals. In the losses the Canucks scored 1 goal, 2 goals and 0 zero goals. Silly choker Loungo not getting 4 shutouts and not scoring any goals in game 7 himself. The Canucks won 3 games scoring 5 goals and in total scored a whopping 8 goals in 7 games. The fact they won 3 games is a testament to Luongo's abilities.

The Canucks LOVE. Tanev. He's going nowhere.

The Kings are not fun to watch and the nucks played a very solid road game. It wasn't like a devils/press ge circa 5 years ago though.
-
Here's what you do then. Just live your life and don't watch them play or listen. If you withdraw it's easy. Trust me, being in BC I obviously don't see many games and admit that when they are on TV and I watch, I cannot root against them either. But if I don't watch then I'm ok. They have to stop this almost making the playoffs routine and get a top pick and reboot. Montreal was last in the east last year and look at them now.

Myers is fine. Leave him be. He's the real deal and is only going to get better. Guess what? All players make mistakes. Deal with it.

Watching Canucks / Kings. Why I don't know. Anyway, I absolutely despise Mike Richards. The guy doesn't stop whining to the refs. After every whistle he's crying to them. Speaking of the kings, last month upon returning home from Disneyland, I ended up saying hello and shaking hands with Mr Ted Nolan, while at LAX. He said he was in town to see his kid playa few games.
