Not really, its his job to lead and carry the team from time to time in tough games. It's not his job to single-handedly be the entire Sabres offense game in and game out.

Still no, Ristolainen should be untouchable unless McDavid or Matthews is being given to us. He’s at minimum a top 4 dman who knows how to eat minutes and generate points. You don’t trade that for a lottery ticket which at best starts in two years.

While I'd understand the no goal at the end had they explained it normally; they said effectively that it was a goal but a Sabre was on Bob the goalie...... there wasn't a Sabre on the goalie though. This team angers me more with this, they hint at having skill and talent but only do so in spurts. Kane is a conundrum, how can a player so good at scoring be so boneheaded?

The thing is we can't sign him. If we do we lock our Top 6 Fs. Okposo is nearly worthless, Reinhart is a winger, Eichel and ROR are ok, and we have 2 other spots total. Based on money we can't sign him without sacrificing Reinhart and a potential Dman upgrade we desperately need.
