Used yes, on everyday people. Not on 25 year old athletes who will take large amounts of physical abuse on a near daily basis. It's "experimental" in the sense it has never been done to a professional hockey player.

So Pi asked on the Free Agency thread about FIsh's other players https://puckpedia.com/agent/peter-fish Interestingly enough, he also has a website which seemingly hasn't been updated since 2017-2018. http://www.globalhockey.net/index.html For a conspiracy, Fish represented Chris Drury. So perhaps he's trying to help his former client get his present one?

The more that happens, the more I wonder if Eichel actually was a problem in some way.
-
Probably the latter but while suspending his pay.
-
I'm guessing that's what their conjecture is based on; however I'd guess the Sabres want a more traditional fusion surgery.
-
The Sabres in this case. They have been more forthcoming about the information and have the medical backing. Eichel's camp is literally whining because multiple opinions and the Sabres said no to his risky surgery.
-
Anyone notice he deleted his Twitter as well.

My guess that is more conjecture than anything else. Well this certainly tells me that either Eichel is an idiot or at very least his agents are. The GM has dug in his heels on getting proper value for Eichel; shouldn't they be looking to help make a team cough up the assets rather than further suppress his value?

Hagg is a less extreme version of Risto Butcher and Pysyk are analytics darlings that will either bounce back or suck Dahlin and Jokiharju should do well Miller is just Miller The D could easily be better than last year. (Mainly because McCabe only played about a dozen games total)

2x5.25 or something akin to 8x7.5 to 8 mil.
-
Ryan MacInnis is Al's son, so he has that that going for him I guess
-
Correct, I'm guessing is Henrique/Zuccarello like. 5/6 mil for 3 years.

Rasmus Asplund signs two year deal with Sabres 825k AAV

Cheaper but shorter than I predicted. I had 3x1.15mil but this certainly works. -
I'm 100% against retaining a dime on Eichel. Though I fear the Pegulas are being cheapskates in regards to picking up some minor contracts. After all they aren't even sending the Sabres announcers to road games.

I refuse to trade Eichel in the freaking division.

I'd certainly entertain the offer

Some quick thoughts regarding trades and free agency so far

Well Granato wasn't exactly fond of Eakin lol -
My only guess is that Ullmark wanted more than 4 years from Buffalo.

I wish undisclosed ill will to Hall. I hate that goat faced #######

LHD Will Butcher and 5th round pick in 2022 traded to Buffalo from NJD

Debatable, it comes down to which Pysyk and Butcher show up. From an analytics perspective our team got worse losing McCabe but much better with Risto’s departure. Both Butcher and Pysyk have been generally analytics darlings and if they play out well we could have a better d than most of last season. -
I’ve got to say, this was a solid press conference. He actually answered the question about Eichel rather well. He wants players who want to be here doesn’t necessarily mean he will only allow players who want to be here. He’s essentially telling the bidding teams that we are fine with keeping Eichel for a myriad of reasons and that his buzzwords for the team doesn’t mean there are no exceptions. To to be honest I think either Vegas or Anaheim snap. I’m glad to at least hear there’s a plan; and they are playing by said plan. Hopefully it’s a good one. To be honest our defense has strangely become better analytically when you remember McCabe only played 13 games.

From Vegas: Krebs, Tuch, Smith, 2022 1st, 2023 2nd or From Anaheim: Zegras, Henrique, Lundstrom, (Top 10 Protected) 2022 1st Both are fair trades and both give Buffalo a potential future 1C, a vital piece. I know Anaheim has said Zegras is a no-go but with Mason McTavish now in their system and an unusual age spacing of their key pieces; Eichel would be an immediate 1C versus waiting on Zegras to hopefully get there.

No thanks, nothing involved could be equated to worth trading Eichel to a team we would hate him going to.
