  1. Mr. Pegula, I find players, you sign checks, team does stuff, fans cheer, you make more money
  2. In that case, if I were Adams I’d pose the proposal in a manner that downplays Eichel and focuses on the return and its potential. By taking on A we can get B and C plus D.
  3. Terry certainly needs to stop apparently penny pinching but I can certainly understand being weary of spending a bunch of money on completely pure cap dumps.
  4. Well that would depend, what are these teams wanting us to take on? Its one one thing to eat a 1 or 2 year contract. It’s a whole different story for a 3+ year contract.
  5. That's what makes this whole mess so confusing.
  6. God, I forgot to add the "you" lol
  7. I'd tell Eichel's agent; help me find my demands in the West and I'll trade him. I refuse to trade your client on the cheap. He may want to put Jack first but my job is to put the Sabres first. And that means getting a haul for your client and then we can go on our separate ways.
  8. Now do understand Wild? I do believe NRD has at least a few sources.
  9. Couture is actually 6x8mil
  10. Well we need goalies
  11. I would say the main reason he'd be back is due to his injury status
  12. https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/2622937 I had a pseudo-3way trade with CGY and MIN. CGY has room for Eichel, so Zary, Dube, Monahan and a Top 10 protected 1st works. MIN needs a skilled center but lacks cap, send them Monahan (2.35mil retention) for Rask, Rossi, and a 3rd Send the 3rd back to CGY.
  13. Tyler Ennis - loves playing here, good teammate, cheap, certainly won’t block any kids
  14. I call BS on this, Chiarot is a 30 year old dman with 1 year left on his deal.
  15. Let the ducklings follow Okposo around 🙂
  16. To be honest I think its a tad more indirect in that it was targeted at Kane and by proxy Eichel (Reinhart to a lesser degree) We know for a fact that Kane was a rebel against team leadership in WPG and was likely, at least to start, in Buffalo. Eichel gravitated to Kane which lends credence to the idea Eichel may have been not as receptive to Gionta. Legwand was a diamond that came out of that Lehner trade no one expected.
  17. You either need high performance vets, Cup Winning vets, or vets that everyone loves. Okposo falls into the last category since he appears to be universally liked.
  18. That second tweet is hilarious, that isn't anything special. Trading Eichel in-division is a major no no, even more so if the best we get out of it is a below average center, a D prospect and some chaff.
  19. Hey for once I actually agree with the owner. Barring the Rangers blowing us out of the water with their offer; there's little reason to accept anything in the Conference. As for the division even more so barring sheer stupidity on the divisional team's part. Boston and Toronto though, no chance; they can offer us the world and I'd still have difficulty.
  20. I wouldn't be so sure he's gone. He's going to miss the first month/month and a half which isn't very conducive to contract signing.
  21. Here's an offer I cam up with Eichel & Ruotsalainen for Rossi, Boldy, Rask, Foligno and a 2022 1st
  22. To be honest I'd even take Zuccarello and his 3x6mil contract if it got me Boldy and Rossi
  23. Sure, give me Rossi, Boldy, 2022 1st and maybe Addison then Dumba and Rask. We'll even give you Miller at 50% retained to help with your immediate salary concerns.
  24. Not sure where I'd put this, but I hope the Sabres give Mitts' brother a flyer as an undrafted free agent.
