Samuelsson is probably going to play over Hagg and Bryson to be honest as he brings something the rest of our D lacks in size and strength. I've been picturing Dahlin - Jokiharju Samuelsson - Miller Butcher - Pysyk Every pair has a more offensive and defensively skewed player. The bottom pair is part 3rd pairing and part situational players. Butcher skewed towards offensive situations whereas Pysyk takes more defensive responsibilities. Hagg is just Risto-lite Bryson started off great last year but struggled down the stretch. The one interesting situation however would be if Borgen is waived by Seattle due to their present player numbers. In that case I'd go Dahlin - Borgen Butcher - Jokiharju Hagg - Pysyk/Miller

How exactly? I'd guess he certainly looked pigheaded but also steadfast. The likely people who disliked Adams would be those looking to screw him over. Many would question his asset management while simultaneously understanding Adams isn't going to capitulate if you try to wait him out. Effectively it would boil down to what sorts of offers were on the table. If Vegas offers Krebs, Smith and 2 1sts for Eichel and we refuse to budge from Eichel for Krebs, Smith and 3 1sts then Adams is being overly greedy or unwilling to compromise. If Anaheim refuses to offer Zegras, Drysdale, MacTavish and continues to offer only secondary pieces; then Adams is steadfast and difficult to rip off.

Buffalo is bad with a great amount of fans Arizona is bad with a mediocre amount of fans Even 25% of the Sabres fanbase viewing each game is likely more than Arizona at 75%. Ticket sales might be a different story; however Arizona, like Florida, are known for absurd ticket selling schemes. You'll never see Sabres tickets offered in Tops with a gift card purchase or the like.
-
In this case they likely would. Refusing to cave in would give Adams clout and a proven history of not backing down from a challenge. If teams are only offering their 7th prospect or lower and a bunch of conditional picks then we are better off just waiting.

There's the key in this. I refuse to take a ROR deal where we get utterly humiliated. Give us great assets or no assets. I'm not going to settle for garbage.
-
At this point I say let him have his surgery. If it doesn’t work for NHLers. the Sabres medical staff looks wise, Eichel looks like a fool and retires and although we lose the asset; we don’t get screwed by trading him for garbage. Honestly, I’d rather have Eichel, a king’s ransom, or Eichel retiring than an awful ROR trade sequel we’d be laughed at for years to come.

Begs to question if they were more or less "hands off" with Murray; then went overly "hands on" with Botts in reaction to what had happened. Perhaps Adams was a person they felt they could trust not to take advantage of them without requiring them to continuously meddle. I'd guess Terry wants to win; and like us is a fan of the team and meddles more akin to how we would if we were in his position. Kim is a bit harder to get a real gauge on; her upbringing should point to a very good person whereas the stories of her seem to wildly sway between black widow and baking cookies for the coaches and scouts.

I'd trade Johnson, FLA's 1st, and our 2nds in 2022 and 23 for Chychrun. Shift Dahlin to the right side and in a year we could run Chychrun - Dahlin Power - Jokiharju Samuelsson - Insert Vet Here That would certainly be a damn good D core.
-
Well the idea would be to acquire a 3rd 1st in 2022 and then deal FLA's plus the new 1st to get him.

I'd love the kid but we lack a 2nd random 1st and have a backlog of LHDs

Pegulas New Bills Stadium Proposal a Public and Private Partnership

It is needed because the NFL wants it. That alone is reason enough. -
8 years 2.5 mil per lol

Does Adams have some sort of specific love of signing only the same contract information.

The Sabres, Eichel, NHL and NHLPA had a meeting regarding Jack

I'd say its one part people trying to justify the need to trade Eichel, one part actually taking off the rose colored glasses and seeing Eichel's legitimate shortfalls, and one part inherent biases about athletes/his region of birth/the results we've had/etc. This was a great post that sums up a lot of how Eichel seems to look as we try and figure out who Eichel really is. Eichel has every reason to be angry about a great many things but he likely was also pigheaded in unwillingness to help fix some of those problems he actually had input/influence over. -

I'm good with 65k seats with a small retractable roof over the field. Should come in around 1.7 billion -
Doubt it, they’d be more likely to just eat his contract at that point. No reasonable person would dump their best player for garbage
-
I’d want a MTL 1st. I don’t really have much interest in another lefty dman or a bot 6 player like Poehling
-
As much as it pains me to lose another home game like this; I do think it’s pretty cool to be the 1st American team to play in the Heritage Classic. Guess it really does put more kindling on the Sabres being the 8th Canadian team lol
-
Partially this, partially he refused to pay a guy 7.5mil just for him to be traded. The Pegulas have slowly become more stingy with money for sure but that may be in part due to the massive spending they did prior not accomplishing much of anything.

Team’s fault entirely for hiring him Eichel shares some blame for delaying his firing if he was giving ultimatums. -
Eichel is changing Agents will be represented by Pat Brisson

Quick question, does Hamilton have any previous beef with Eichel? I know Hamilton and Reinhart had a feud of sorts but Hamilton never seemed to make hit pieces or comments on Eichel. As such while I’d take this with a grain of sand I could certainly see his report being at least somewhat accurate. -

That’s what opposing GMs want; for us to just get it over with. We must stand firm and get a solid to better return for Eichel and that is all there is to it. -

I’d assume there’s a far better chance of the former than the latter. Just look at the other major trades he’s worked on. Players tend to get full value or even more when under Brisson since it reflects well on his client
