  1. Which goals would you say are on Tokarski?
  2. Bad news: they lost Good news….. well they played better in the 3rd and easily should of tied it if those two posts went in.
  3. Rough, we had 2 or 3 posts and carried play most of this 3rd but only have 1 goal to show for it
  4. Well that’s when this specific problem arose
  5. Dahlin is having a very rough night. Krueger truly wrecked his ability to think clearly. Heavy forechecking teams seem to get to him; give him time and he’ll make you pay but the book on him is out. I’m unsure how you fix that; drill it into him? Alright boys, time to climb back into it; it’s hockey fights cancer night.
  6. I think its in large part due to what he has been saying along with his history regarding the Sabres. He's a strong willed player who plays hard and will play hard for the crest regardless due to a prior attachment to the franchise. He also is effectively "one of us" in that he was a fan of the Sabres growing up and has many fond memories of 05-06 and such. Thus, Tuch fits what most fans would love in a leader off of the ice. A relentless player with a personal passion for the team he plays for that isn't created or produced through money or role but rather personal history. You feel certain that his loyalties lie with the team and the fanbase as a whole. It's akin to why Josh Allen has become so beloved in the area. His story resonates with our city's underdog passion and Josh has embraced the city and its culture in turn. He may still live in California in the offseason; but you never feel any sense of superiority against or distaste for Buffalo. Its difficult for any player to effectively become a "Buffalonian" in the eyes of the populace. They either must live here for a long period of time and thus become a common sight around town or embrace it by other means while not needlessly throwing the city or its people into a woodchipper in the public and private spheres. For instance part of the city's distrust of Eichel came from the rumors of his overarching desire to play in Boston, and root for New England. Due to those teams being despised in Buffalo; it created an immediate sense of distrust. Had he been from San Francisco and grew up a big Sharks/49er's fan there would of been far less innate fear and distrust by the city against him. Essentially Eichel was behind the 8-ball to start, as any amount of the charity he worked on never came across as anything more than the typical charity work many players do in their cities. To wrap this whole thing up, Tuch is already "one of us" and thus will be given far more credence to his words and actions as to his genuine-ness of it.
  7. Tokarski is a true backup 4-4-3 Record, 11 pts in 11 games started. Anderson is a solid backup 4-2-0 Dell is a goalie screen masquerading as a person 0-4-0
  8. I’m guessing he’ll be waived tomorrow or as soon as Mitts is ready. With Caggiula out we needed a bot 6 sub and R2 hasn’t worked out in any such role this year.
  9. In OT, that's how you are supposed to play it for the most part; don't give them an easy route in for a deke. he should of put his stick out but I can't blame him for trying to coerce a savable shot in OT
  10. It's weird because Peterka should get the other apple on the final goal aside from Quinn.
  11. Jease this was quite a dirty game. Good to see Quinn 1g 2a Peterka 2a Krebs 3a
  12. Moulson, Franson and Jonsson-Fjallby are on Hershey
  13. Quinn, Peterka and Krebs all have 1a each 🙂
  14. Talked with Chad D and he said our goalie coach didn't see eye to eye with Murray so I doubt we pick him up.
  15. I’d talk to Dallas about Bishop, Oettinger is their starter there and we could actually get him games.
  16. Dubynk, maybe we could sign him and give him a try?
  17. None of those names even interest me in the slightest.
  18. Koskinen is only good as a cap dump if we get assets to take him. Otherwise he’s as bad as Dell due to his proclivity to let in softies. Holtby was awful in Vancouver but has been good in Dallas. I’d guess he won’t do well in Buffalo because our defensive play is more akin to VAN than DAL
  19. Happy Thanksgiving!
  20. Ended UTI's cocky Twitter; woot woot
