Love Kessels shot. He's got a certain amount of game. Far from a well rounded player and have you heard him whine since the goings gotten tough in Toronta ? He's not captain material as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't refuse having him on the team but he's really shown his stripes since the shite hit the fan on the leafs.

Would it ?

Puck Daddy says GMTM's desire for Luke Richardson as coach

In other words a coach killer -
I agree and good post. Reading some of these well thought out posts has really made me realize that what I initially thought was overpayment or perhaps a bad trade in some respects could actually be a watershed moment for the team. I'm excited about the future for this team and anticipate more changes and additions. Its going to be Great !

I kind of agree. The Timmy avatar as a default avatar needs to be retired at sea or in a viking funeral or something. I would prefer to look at a pic of Rosie O'Donnel.

I understand what you're saying that Hodgson is a different type of player. Every team has them. The point is Ennis never coasts. You won't see him on the fourth line. If Ennis started taking shifts off Nolan would be well within his rights as coach to do whatever he felt necessary to shake him out of his funk. Let him skate on the fourth line. Maybe that'll do it. If not relegate him to the pressbox. But Ennis always puts in effort so we don't need to worry about him. Hodgson isn't producing so you try to jump start him. If they can unload this guy before the deadline I say do it. Hopefully moving forward we don't have too many players taking shifts off. -

So we'll just let Cody float around on the first line without putting in the effort necessary to produce ? That sends a good message to the rest of the guys. He's paid to produce. No production=no value. He doesn't score and he doesn't do much when it comes to defensive responsibilities so what does he do for his money ? -
Lemieux traded because Claude told management he wouldn't sign here?
bunomatic replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
Well losing this kid was the part of the deal that didn't sit well with me but it would appear i didn't matter. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Claude, er Brendan. -
LOL. Coney Hotdog. HA HA HA . Eventually this thread title will work its way back to Cody Hodgson needs to go.

Really ? None of this is on ol Hodgey eh ? The only thing Nolan can be blamed for is benching a player with no passion or desire to look within himself and play his way out of a season long funk. The lack of accountability that existed in this franchise went out the door with Regier. -
This is where I'm at. And the shifty eye's make him a little eastwoodesque. Someone hand that man a cigarillo.

Just weighing in. I like the trade. We get guys that are ready now ( or next season in Kanes case ) for potential and a throw-in ( staff ). GMTM just sped up the rebuild and he's not finished. Bogasian will be harder to play against than Myers. Kane is a young power forward to play with our generational player ( McDavid/Eichel ). I think he'll be hyped about that. I was excited about the kid Lemieux but he may never pan out . Who knows when it comes to prospects. GMTM has balls. Its all good.

Lol. That was the first clip that came to mind for me as soon as I heard this story as well. On a serious note though considering the lack of coverage everywhere but Vancouver maybe this stuff isn't considered news anymore ?

I'm not sure if its been discussed previously and I apologize if it has but apparently a Dallas radio show had seguin and Benn on yesterday and they were asked about the Sedins. Showing their maturity both waxed poetic about the twins rooming together on the road and they joked about the top bunk bottom bunk sleeping arrangement. They then got into some homophobic suggestions of what might be going on between the brothers. You would think the league would have a better handle on this stuff since they espouse an anti bullying stance for public consumption and for the little kids etc. that follow the league and look up to their star players. Vancouver sports talk 1040 went on about it today interviewing people in the game from around the league who all disagreed with the content of the discussion and the lack of good sense by the Dallas players.

Its different. Its centred on the main character from breaking bads lawyer and it takes place pre breaking bad but does contain some of the same characters. As far as I can tell so far you can get into it without previous exposure to breaking bad. Without giving it away its got the same kind of feel as breaking bad. Real good so far.

Anyone seen this spinoff of Breaking Bad ? I've watched the first episode and I'm just sitting down to the second. I like it. It takes place pre-breaking bad so many of the same characters show up. Thoughts ?
-
I agree. It has to or should be a lead up to another pycho. Who's the villian that swears a lot in the comics ? He's supposedly in this season at some point.

Lol I laughed. I hope she didn't damage the blade. Question. What was everybodies take on the truckload of torso n heads without the lower bodies ? I was confused when they came across the bodies from the waist down splinkles with limbs lying aboot but it was strange ?

Thats true. I view ol hodgy as a wet noodle. Really does nothing for the team in its current state which can be said for many of the players. I'm hoping that as they build this team even the complimentary pieces will have that fire.
