Hey. I've cheered for this team for 40. Not sure if that makes me loyal or stupid. Maybe a little bit of both ? Anyways. I'm not sure what winning would accomplish at this point other than give the kids a boost to their confidence or pride. Help them bond a little ? I'll still wish the team well in my usual way. Word on the street is that Zads has been slipping on the homefront too. He apparently left the seat up and didn't replace the toilet paper roll. Now if my wifes reaction to these types of transgressions is any indication this could be very worrisome for the young Russian. And I'm not even a professional.

After watching episode 4 I have to say the lawyer has some of the best scams going. Confidence man extraordinaire.

Something fishy about the town of gayberry. I heard the children playing but in the preview when they showed the beautiful homes n stuff there weren't too many people around except the usual cast of characters. And who built the walls and fortifications ? Certainly not the two characters we've been introduced to so far. Lots of questions and not much for answers so far. This is setting up as a tranquil and boring stay.

One day when I'm mostly decrepit, in the advanced stages of dementia and riddled with rickets or some such ghastly malady I'll sit my great grandson down next to me and with a foggy memory I'll relate to him the story of the Coney Island hotdog. He'll have images of hockey players, curses, oil barons, tank commanders, sabretoothed tigers and Russian countesses running through his young mind and will be mostly confused by my jabbering. And this will be his lasting memory of his great grandpappy Buno. For this I blame the runaway train that is this thread. But by all means keep it up. Its great entertainment.

He'd probably prefer to be in Vancouver being that its his hometown. Vans pretty big when you include all the other municipalities surrounding it and its still a fishbowl. Hockey mad is how I'd describe it. So if thats something he wants to get away from he won't escape it going back home. My hope is that he's sincere about being excited to be in Buffalo and truly want to be a part of the leadership group and grow with this young team. So far he's saying all the right things. If the Buffalo media runs him out of town get out the pitchforks. I envision Kane as a BIG part of the resurgence thats going to take place in Buffalo hockey and in the city itself. The national media likes to take swipes at the Sabres and the city but they'll be kissing the cities asss in a few years when this ship is turned around.

Same. He's still chief woodenlegs at times. Nothing appreciably better about his game. Better team around him. Little mistakes aren't snowballing as they often did with the Sabres.

I like him too Liger. He is confident, maybe a bit cocky. Not worried about his rehab or his game being affected. I'm excited to see this guy in game action giving it his all for the sabres. Just wish the Buffalo media would look forward instead of back. Personally I don't care about what went on in the Peg. Before the trade I had my concerns but since Murray downplayed that stuff and Evander himself has shook it off I'm 100% on board.
