Every excuse in the book thrown out from tired from the roadtrip, injury depleted lineup, took them lightly, inexperienced goaltender blah blah blah but absolutely no credit given to those lowly Sabres who had as many injuries themselves but played through. Kind of funny actually.

All you need to do is isolate Hodgy when he is in our zone defending and you'll notice him standing there following the play with his eyes , not his body. Pretty much looks lost. He has 3 goals on the season and he can't defend. Personally i'd put him on the first line but he can't score either.

Canucks don't need neuverth. Lacks been playing with confidence and Markstrom has been one of the better goalies in the AHL. If being one of the better goalies in the AHL translates to competent backup they're ok in net till Miller returns. Kassian has been playing well. They have a -ton of injuries right now so much like us they have lots of kids filling in. Hope its a good game. As always, GO SABRES !
