I'd pay $58 to go to a Sabres game right now. I'm unable to because I am out of town for ... reasons ... but I would. I miss it. And I definitely can see people who are headed to Buffalo for Thanksgiving shelling out $58 to go see their favorite team.

I have not--and I'm unlikely to buy one. But it's a solid option. It avoids wearing a sweater with a young guy's name on it, and it also avoids putting a vintage player's name on a modern sweater. I only have one sweater with a name and number: I have the 40th anniversary, which does not look nearly as nice without the nameplate and number on it, and it's a Pominville. Also, it fell off a truck, so it was a bargain. My other Sabres sweaters (a red steak knife jersey and an early 90s home white) are blanks.

Per this morning's Buffalo News, Anderson is out for a while. (The article is paywalled as usual.) The team wants to keep UPL in Rochester for development. I don't like this. Surprisingly, this team actually could make the playoffs with good goaltending. I have little faith in Tokarski, and none whatsoever in Dell. I don't have that much in UPL, either, but he's not as bad as the other two. I just think they're wasting an opportunity here. EDIT: I was unclear. I don't think Adams should trade for a goalie. I do think that UPL, while not great, is better than the other two options, and I think he should be in Buffalo. SECOND EDIT: Changed thread title to clarify what I'm getting at.
