  1. Offside review LOL
  2. I don't care if he's got Randy's gut, which is not only Cup-worthy, but Nobel-worthy. He made a mistake.
  3. I didn't miss your point--the Sabres don't have Wright Cozens Tage Krebs if Wright is in the OHL. If the Sabres get Wright, then IF/WHEN he makes the big club, it's time to make trades.
  4. You should change your name to RebuildForever.
  5. Oh, I think Montreal, Ottawa, and Arizona all can catch them while Houser and Dell are in net.
  6. Most definitely.
  7. He's gonna be good. The thing that bothers me is that @LGR4GM didn't like him in the draft and still doesn't. /s
  8. Promo, he placed his trust in a 40 year old, and as a backup, he signed a trashcan, FFS. Let's be intellectually honest here. Adams did not adequately address goaltending.
  9. ^ Yep. We've been through it enough times. Goaltending was obviously a need in the offseason and Adams didn't sufficiently address it.
  10. Well, now I don't know who Jankowski is AND I don't know who Kodak Black is.
  11. This situation is ridiculous.
  12. Wow. I can't believe the NFL allowed two teams in the same division to do that!
  13. Absolutely. I think that's one good reason why M&T can't sponsor the Bills' stadium; it already has the Ravens' stadium. It is tied to both through sponsorships (albeit it seems much more tied to the Ravens).
  14. This whole exercise is absurd.
  15. I can't access the FT article, but private equity groups aren't the same as traditional minority owners. And I don't know of another major league that allows any minority ownership of two teams in the same league--I could be wrong.
  16. Who the hell is Jankowski?
  17. Nope. And the teams Ga played were over-ranked because the SEC and Big Ten/Fourteen/Pi/whatever always are. If anything, I have some small allegiance to Arkansas, having taught there, and that team was over-ranked.
  18. I'm trying to cut him a break...let's see, that was 2014, Bernier would have been about 26, so ... Someone help me out?
  19. I'll repeat that it's not the lack of on-ice rules; it's the authoritarian governments of a number of countries. He's more likely to end up in gulag than suspended.
  20. Major? Not really. IIRC, at the beginning of MLS, all teams were owned by the league--presenting a similar competitive conflict of interest--and that league has grown fine. But to do this retroactively seems like a recipe for disaster.
  21. This is horrible, this idea.
  22. Wish I could go, but I'm going ice fishing and then to a nickelback concert.
  23. Not really an ND fan. VERY casual. If they're on and they're not playing a school I have ties to, I'll probably root for them. I couldn't name a single player. Just keeping the record straight. I was pretty surprised that the game last night opened up after I went to bed.
  24. They play a tougher schedule than any team in a conference, most years. That includes Michigan, specifically, 15 of the last 20 seasons. Georgia's tough schedule this year included Vanderbilt AND Tennessee, a usually bad Kentucky, an unusually bad Florida, Missouri, Charleston Southern, Birmingham, Ga Tech, and South Carolina. Come on. (And that's not accounting for Auburn being in a program slump.) Georgia has played two teams of note and lost to one of them. EDIT: Three, with one loss. I'll give you Clemson.
  25. In the other thread, @Brawndo indicated that he expects Quinn to play tomorrow night and that this is just some procedural mumbo-jumbo.
