  1. Can you add an option for "a player not yet on the roster"?
  2. Agreed. It seems the sentiment (based on QWGR reaction) is that Tyrod didn't play thhaaaaat bad, but for me, this game has brought him a little closer to earth. From what I've seen, his poise has been completely different in the two wins than the two losses. Edit: I should add, I'm not concerned, but just an observation/add-on to what you said. I LOVED one caller to WGR last week who put Tyrod in the Hall of Fame, and they couldn't figure out if he was for real or just trolling.
  3. I was there. There were several plays where we were screaming for Tyrod to throw it to someone who was open, and he never saw him. I'm as big a backer of Tyrod as anyone, but I I'll be the first to say I didn't think he was seeing downfield very well yesterday. That was unreal. It seemed like the 3rd down playcalls were lazy: "well, yeah just do that one that puts the receivers a couple yards shy and HOPE that he gets it somehwo". You sound just like this big blowhard a few rows back from me yesterday. Felt bad for him. Fan behind me: "How could you POSSIBLY be losing to the ## ## ## Giants???" Me (to myself): "You've been watching for three quarters; can't you answer that question?" Not singling d4rk out, but I guess... the fan over-reactions are getting just as old as the Bills' non-competitiveness. Tyrod tried running/making something out of nothing WAY more than I wanted him to. I screamed for him to throw the ball away about four times and he insisted on trying to make a big play. It worked out well for him, though, I thought. That one big run down the home sideline to inside the 5 was great (although rightly called back on, I wanna say, an Incognito holding penalty). So, twice as enjoyable as watching yesterday's Bills game?............. :nana:
  4. Yeah, your girth really put me at attention
  5. oohhhh... chz wins it, by an inch!
  6. Levitre, to add one more. So, what happened to Aaron Williams on Sunday? He came back, played one snap, and then what? Also, it is assumed Urbik is in for John Miller?
  7. Where is chz with the epitomizing photo? I recall great debates over who was in the photo :D
  8. yeah. Also a search for "Horton's" didn't turn it up, either. I found it when I searched "window"
  9. Looks like ROR not in Minnesota for tonight's game. Link: http://www.wgr550.com/pages/22019300.php
  10. (Here's the thread, LGR. ;) ) http://www.wgr550.com/pages/22019300.php Supposed to have a hearing today, but unclear whether he will attend.
  11. I, too, have had thoughts that Zemgus is not in the long-term plans. Although, perhaps during the preseason they just knew more about Gus so they didn't need to get him minutes with the other big guns? In other words, they needed a greater look at the other top-6 candidates?
  12. Google says a group of toddlers is called a "migraine".
  13. I will be attending both the Sabres' opener on Oct. 8 and the Oilers' game on Oct. 10 in Nashville. I believe I will be the first human to witness both an Eichel and a McDavid regular season NHL game. B-) (Actually... it appears the only way that wouldn't be true is if someone went to EDM@STL on Oct. 8 and TBL@BUF on Oct. 10 afternoon.)
  14. Yes! I would second this. I actually thought about that song when I re-listened to the proposed 1000 Swords song, because the band reminds me of the Kings. Edit: See 2:39 for the chill-er "This Beats Goes On" (even has a call/response) or 3:40 onward for "Switchin' to Glide":
  15. I think the idea is that, while he would be good on the wing, they get MORE value out of him playing center, if possible.
  16. That's gonna be a great trivia question some day: What three Sabres constituted the infamous "Sabrepede" in 2013?
  17. Did you miss the orange griptape(?) on the Y?
  18. Alright... looked it up, and you were close! BW's 2336 hits + PON's 2105 hits = 4441 hits > PR's 4256 hits :P
  19. Based on what I heard on WGR, it sounds like ROR was disappointed with the way he played, defensively and perhaps on faceoffs.
  20. Perhaps we should be gunning for a Sabres Goal SCENT rather than a Song? Just imagine: Eichel rips one into the back of the net.... giant bellows start blasting gas throughout the FNC.... 18,000 delirious fans all start sniffin' and huffin'
  21. On hockey hotline they were just saying there is supposed to be an 8-song bracket up on sabres.com, open to fan voting, to decide a new goal song for the season. Couldn't find it on the website though.... Edit: whoops, I guess it's here: http://sabres.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=107670just saw the new thread on it
  22. Apparently they cut Matt Simms on Sept. 4 (before Week 1) and he's with the Atlanta Falcons now. Haven't seen any roster move news yet.
  23. Yup. Or, GMTM has some bites for him, and the trade partner wants to be sure he has come back to camp in shape / ready to play before doing it? Just a possibility, like you said.
  24. I am still hoping they position Larsson to be traded before the season starts. Will his value possibly be any higher than it is now?
