  1. Just saw this posted on TBD..... Sabres playing during both of the Bills' primetime games... @FLA 7:30pm Thu Nov 12, and hosting STL 7pm Mon Nov 23.
  2. Nine Friday Night home games.......
  3. Geez you're right, I count seven Saturday 1pm home games......
  4. Other highlights: Florida road trips are in mid-Oct and mid-Nov Western Canada (VAN/CGY/EDM) trip early Dec @ARI and @COL mid-Jan California road trip late-Feb Home and home versus Capitals between Christmas and New Years again (someday I wanna know why this always happens!) Home the day before and after Thanksgiving (Carolina and Nashville)
  5. Sabres + Bills Combo weekends: Vancouver at Sabres Sat Nov 7 1pm + Miami at Buffalo Sat Nov 8 1pm Detroit at Sabres Sat Jan 2 1pm + NJ Jets at Buffalo Sat Jan 3 1pm
  6. Nice, thanks for the updates, Hoss. The one thing I keep having to remind myself is that they can get a team in Quebec City without putting them in the Eastern Conference at least initially (a la Winnipeg in the EC). Perhaps they add in Seattle, Vegas, and QC with the stipulation that QC has to play in the WC until something gives (such as the Panthers moving to Kansas City or something)? I know there's a lot to consider with that. Would the NHLPA have a play in the travel concerns with QC in the WC? I'm certain the QC fans wouldn't mind.
  7. You can pre-order the Sabres' top draft pick's jersey: http://onebuffalo.myshopify.com/
  8. Quick note... it's spelled "Colombia" with an O (not "Columbia" with a U). I don't intend to be all policey/, but I had a Colombian co-worker once, who was absolutely the nicest guy you've met, and I was surprised at how riled up he got about the spelling! So henceforth I always pay close attention.
  9. Darn, I was hoping when I clicked the image to enlarge it that I would see a little GMTM head poking out of one tank and a little Eichel head in the other.
  10. For what it's worth, nhlnumbers seems to suggest the Sabres are at $44.26M right now... which would mean we only need ~$8M to get to the floor: http://stats.nhlnumbers.com/teams/BUF?year=2016
  11. Bump for the women's pre-quarters matchup tonight versus Colombia, starting at 8pm ET. TV info... http://www.ussoccer.com/womens-national-team/matches
  12. They could have Buffalo open their season at home on Thu Oct 8 (vs Toronto or anyone else), and Edmonton open their season at home vs Buffalo (would be Buffalo's second game) on Sat Oct 10. just an idea.
  13. But that would put Zemgus in the old core too. And McCabe.
  14. inky is trying to compensate for his little baby ziti weenie
  15. The bottom line is that revenue (in the form of ticket sales) would make it financially viable (based on many folks' opinions here). There are many posts outlining these reasons. You may not agree that these reasons outweigh the fact that there'd be a team in freaking Vegas without a fanbase, but the reasons for pushing it are evident. Cool! I don't think I'd be alone here in my interest to see a summary of the criteria and how the final numbers played out in that exercise, if you're willigng to share. It's funny whenever Houston comes up; I think Taro always chimes in as he did above (and I think he's right) :)
  16. I'll just say that Xanadu... especially the intro... was by far my favorite part. Also, wouldn't have guessed it, but Lakeside Park was the one stuck in my head this morning.
  17. I'll be there tonight; thanks for sharing your experience from a couple weeks ago. You know, after getting all jacked up reading your post, I ended up looking up their whole setlists from this tour. I don't think I've ever done this before a big concert; I hope it doesn't ruin it for me.
  18. Y'alls' GMTM avatars are too similar, I keep quickly reading and assuming dejeanerret is Liger.
  19. I may be slightly late on this (or missed it).... but if we were to trade for Eddie Lack, would that be under the condition that we sign him to extension? He is a UFA next year. I think that GMTM will certainly do his due diligence and see what's out there, but he's not breaking the bank on s 1- to 2-year stop gap. (Just remembered there's another thread for this...)
  20. He's the worst. Did you see when Frank Caliendo posed as Stephen B. Smith? Hilarious impersonation:
  21. Didn't we experiment with that a few years back? Or am I imagining that?
  22. Here's a list of 2016 UFA's: http://www.hockeybuzz.com/cap-central/freeagents.php?team=all&type=UFA&year=2016&pos=ALL
  23. Me too... a week from Wednesday! In fact, I might have a couple extra.... I bought 8 in the last row of 320, and I have a group of 5 or 6ish at the moment; if anyone's interested, PM me. Does anyone have any experience with the Artpark up in Lewiston, NY? Skynyrd is playing there Tuesday August 18.. I see GA tickets for $17? Is GA decent? Thanks in advance.
  24. This doesn't answer your question (don't know the answer), but reminded me of another tip.... Sometimes the audio cuts out when using Netflix on the television in my house. Apparently if you use Wifi, this somewhat common; you can fix it by connecting ethernet directly to the router.
  25. Haven't read any of this thread, but heads up that the The Last Waltz is up on Netflix now! A must-see... regarded by many (some?) as the greatest concert movie ever made.
