GDT:Sabres at Seattle 10/25/22 10pm, MSG, Root WGR550
ddaryl replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
They look like a team that has been on the road for 9 days sleeping in hotels.. Coming away with a 3-1 record on a west coast swing is commendable, but they looked slow and listless in the highlights I watched So no Kudos for beating Calgary and Edmonton -

Goaltending remains this organization’s biggest question mark.
ddaryl replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
He was hung out to dry some against FLA, but 2 games in he is at least showing he can play and maybe we did catch lightning in a bottle. I agree only time can answer the riddle of what Cromrie will be for the Sabres. -
Average Night for Devon last night 30 shots 3-3 tie against #9 Boston College

I would like to know this as well. I read through most of the thread. Looking at the stat sheet I'm trying to figure out how we got outshot as much as we did and still pull off the win. Excited about Cromrie's performance.. No doubt he was the star of the game

GDT: Panthers @ Sabres 10/15/2022, 1pm, MSG, ESPN+, BSFL, WGR
ddaryl replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Aud Club
So basically what you both are saying , as a collective, if all us Sabres fans, whom are watching sed game, focus on the same action, or object, and master this ability, we can influence the outcomes of sed games. And if we can do that with hockey games imagine what else could be done. Or maybe I'm just high... -
I like it, because the movie / skits makes me smile And if the line of Cozens Krebs and Peterka starts making some noise consistently, that to will make me smile

I grabbed the info off of facebook and did not verify.. I saw he was GT of the week and copied the info from that

I love the opening to the song and would love to hear that after a goal

I thinks the man deserves a thread for the 2022-2023 college season +++ The man is off to great start already 3 GAMES. 3 WINS. 1 SHUTOUT Devon was awarded Goaltender of the week, yet again, after posting a .947 save percentage and a 1.01 GAA over the weekend, not to mention the shutout.

GDT Preseason: Sabres @ Penguins 10/7/2022, 7pm, MSG (Pens Broadcast), WGR

For me I just want to see how solid Comrie looks with something close to the regular season roster in front of him. -

Analytics guy says don’t believe everything you read about analytics
ddaryl replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
Tools and data are only as good as the personell using them. You can translate data 10 different ways, so skill in the analyst department comes from within perspective of sed data and how it actually is appied to the whole team/picture. Got to have talent, and a Data Analyst talents is their ability to translate and apply to the situation at hand. I think players who aren't flashy can do a lot of little things correctly and data can support that, but to never actually watch a player on film/in person wouldn't be prudent. -
I'm in this camp as well, if Dallas just wants to get something then we might play. We are not going to be doing offer sheets IMO. Thought about that too. What future considerations would we possibly get for that though

One thing we know, the Sabres are not giving up mass assets in a trade.

Guesstimate Your Eastern Conference Final Standings
ddaryl replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
I'm on board with the "We will surpise everybody" mentality we have some wildcards that could prove to be big difference makers in young talent and Cromrie coming over. But last year built the confidence, and if they can carry that into a whole season and deal with the ebs and flows of a season we can defintiely be in the coversation There are some teams in the East getting long in the tooth. -
So how will the goaltending shake out this year?
ddaryl replied to Doohickie's topic in The Aud Club
I believe Cromrie will shine for us. In limited action he did have better stats then Hellybuyck. Also Winnipeg seemed to not be very good defense team and if I'm reading stats right the Sabres were better here I think there is plenty of good reason to believe Cromrie can step up and become a solid G for us. Cromrie probably plays between 40-50 games Anderson will get 20 -30 Games And UPL call up makes up any differences Barring injury(s) We may be calling up others if injuries happen at G and that will throw a wrench into everything -
Sabres Announce Kevyn Adams Signs Contract Extension
ddaryl replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Well you also milk the rookie contract as long as you can... but Josh got extended a year early because obviously the price was going up if we waited
