I would say maybe but its been tried the other way without success and flat out incompetence so at this point Im still show me stage and I see enough "potential" even possible goalies coming... ps can see defensively these guys learning how to play 200 foot game because they dont have a good goalie behind them... if and when the Sabres get a good goalie this team will be really tough to beat... til then at least the games are entertaining.

Look I hate the mismanagement of the first couple rebuilds... that being said and despite it being a long time since Sabres a had a competent team... this team is young... throw out Anderson, is the youngest in the league... i have to accept some patience is required... ps Ollie and Mitts played better last night... Ollie actually got physical on the boards once... ha! Agreed its been frustrating but Im not sure you give up on Mitts just yet unless you get something in return... Im skeptical of Krebs and done with Ollie but not much can be done til the trade deadline.

Mitts 3rd period played crappy... i have been a defender for day one.... great passer... nice moves hard forechecker... but something is missing... cant hold on to the puck and is a poor defender... i have seen him work and do well at all skill sets at different times but he has never put them all together at once.... dont know if he is over thinking or just not thinking... the light may be on just not sure anyone is home... thought he'd mature by now.... asplund is smart but doesnt have the body to be a third liner with these two... ollie its all about effort...

Not complaining about calls on Sabres just missed calls on Tampa... trip on defending forward by i think Stamkos on KO right before their goal... high stick on Kuch against Mule again right before Tampa goal and another blatant trip in the third in Tampa D zone, not to mention all their hooking and grabbing in their D zone...

Well that was disappointing cant let Stamkos have that shot... Also why didnt DG let Peterka and Quinn have a shift towards the end...??

Disagree on Mitts, and not sold on Krebs... he has a long way to go...Asplund... though Asplund could be 4th line center when its all said and done... Savoie, Kulich who knows, Johnson: will he sign, Lingren I like but a long way off... Sabres need a rough and tumble 4th D with skill... not sure who is available. D prospect cup is bare... keep drafting goalies and hope a couple of these forwards show up.

Not sure about a 2024 but sure one of the 2022 firsts Östlund preferably, johnson and Mitts or Ollie not sure they'd want it... Gotta keep young pipeline flowing and gonna need D prospects too.
