    Just finished hockey game here in northern Westchester Cty. When I left to go to play it was 43 degrees, now it is 30 degrees 2 hours later and dropping. Dropped 3 degrees on the way home, luckily not much precip and the ground though wet is still warm, so it hasn't frozen yet.

    Fargin.... iceholes.. LOL P.S. My men's league team won the other nite 7-1, had a goal and assist. Fun to get back on the ice but my groin is still in my ankles... sucks getting old.

    I have seen internal Defibs put into patients with similar conditions. Much like a pacemaker, the "stimulator" shocks the heart when it detects an abnormal heart beat, back into a normal heartbeat. I understand the problem can become exacerbated when exercise, but it probably depends on the patient. All that being said, glad Peverly is stabilized and hope he is well.

    I agree, was thinking about this idea for a while. Great thread and great start to information searching on College FAs. Haven't had a chance to look further myself, but I like the idea sign a few and if only 1 pans out al la Flynn it would be great.

    I think you have to go after Calagary's, Edmonton actually has enough talent to do better next year. Why not though, can't hurt. Watched the world junior championships. The kid is immature, took a bad penalty, but he plays with a temper and has incredible skills and skating ability. Yes he has some growing to do, needs not to get knocked off the puck so much. But the attitude, he gets pissed when getting checked, along with his skills were something to see.

    Agreed and the way he has been playing lately, shouldn't even be considered. He one of the few Sabres generating offense and he plays D.

    Wow, with the four injuries the last two nights, the Sabres went from Bad to Worse. I feel more and more confident in tank nation!

    And Edmonton and Calgary won last night, though the Islanders loss, got watch out for those guys, they could be tanking worse than the Sabres right now.

    Wow, that would have been something. You are right, heavily D, problem is the Sabres would have been and are still lite on forwards that can score. Your metrics have any analysis for team need or separately run a forwards scenario?

    So this should be an interesting draft and next year's as well. As much as I am impatient to win now. I understand this is a process. I like that Murray got all those draft picks and picked up prospects where he could while still being able to protect the young guys developing in minors. I too was sorry to see McNabb go, especially because of his name, but as others have said there is a log jam of D and we all knew one might go. So come this draft Murray will need to earn his stripes again, but I think this is a good first start. I hope the Sabres can mend fences with Nolan. Despite what that idiot on NBC, is name shall not be mentioned, says... Nolan can flat out coach imo. So I hope the guys on the current team will make playoff bound teams uncomfortable going into the First Niagara Center. Have tickets to the April 10th game at MSG. Should be interesting to see this group play against the Strangers.

    I don't buy Erhoff is on the board unless the Sabres get a kitchen sink. Too many years left on his contract for Sabres to have to move today... maybe during draft, but not necessarily now. So what time do we start hearing actual movement? Noonish?
