    Most agree... the thing is everyone could see that this team was bottom 5 from the beginning of the year unlike the Leaves. So rooting for the top pick is understandable especially after the trade deadline when it became so obvious that there was nothing left to cheer for. Next year is a whole nother animal. Not saying they will make the playoffs, but the building blocks are available to start developing. Maybe one more top 5 depending on record and circumstance, but at least as others have said not this boring crap Sabres are calling professional hockey. Heck my beer league team looks better than them on some nights.

    Agreed, slow news time right now. The fact that Mike and Mike are focusing on hockey is a step in the right direction. Still until ESPN actually covers the sport, I say a big whatever. P.S. I seem to remember the Colt fans cheering the other team toward the end of the year before they drafted Luck.... Whatever.

    That is called repression and it tends to come out sideways, at the worst time. This is an appropriate time to do what fans did. Not saying I would, but I understand.

    Maybe, but the emotionally sophisticated response was this. Otherwise, when we all get old and demented we will constantly cussing out Mike Weber and telling Dangerslakov to go f himself for losing. Some of us may do this right after the Sabres win the cup being oblivious so. Get it off your chest I say... :P Seen it happen on a ward full of demented people. The most repressed have the most verbal diarrhea... scary what this say about all of this on this board...hmmm

    I always root for the players but just not for the team right now. Patty is one of the good guys and his response is perfect. Understand Weber's frustration just a dollar late...

    Bull hockey, i wear my sabre hat regularly now knowing the future is not an oncoming train. Before I shook my head in disgrace because it was said train and I was tired of getting run over. Sabres suck right now, but at least the fans know they need to finish the job. so a little good natured booing of a team that sucks and so does their effort in this game at times the players need to suck it up and prepare for next year. If Weber is pissed at fans he has no one to blame but himself. P.S. Toronto fans are far less accomodating.

    As was said, ask lots of questions, hang with the adjuster while he is looking and point out anything he may no focus on. Keep a list yourself and compare to list he sends to insurance. When contractor comes in ask him for a list of what he says needs to be done, make sure two lists are comparable and if adjuster leaves anything out call insurance company and demand it be added. Provide contractors price estimate for it as well. Bird dog both contractor and insurance company. Only use reputable contractor, don't give more than half the money up front to the contractor, better to layout only a quarter till supplies are delivered and another half when job is nearing completion and only the last after job is totally finished. Was flood in VA and had to stay on top of it.

    Yeh that is my biggest problem with Nolan and I like the guy, but he seems to have an aversion if not outright belligerence to working with and developing rookies. He is great with the veterans, but it is almost like if he doesn't know your game and you are new and not a veteran then you are going to sit no matter what. It is too bad because I see a system developing for him and the players. Their breakouts have been a lot better, defensively they are lot stouter, and Grigs looked wonderful getting back on D. He still seems to lack confidence with the puck moving it up ice on his own. That has to be Nolan, but his backchecking last night was nice to see and I saw some real speed out of him I didn't know he had. Does anyone think with Trotts there Nolan can change or is he to stubborn to make adjustments and allow some of the younger guys to develop in the NHL.

    God its looking like it. Need to get some duct tape for the next 4 weeks and then apologize profusely... Use to know some guys that could make him disappear indefinitely, but not sure that is what we want.

    Agreed, Murray and Nolan should be fired if they don't win the Shart.

    Crap, you scared me, I had to look at the standings in the real league and realized you were just talking about the Shart. OK I'll give up the Shart as long as the Sabres finish dead last.

    Enjoyed the win especially against Bahston, hated the result... didn't help McEichel.

    At least Carolina won last night for all purposes eliminating them from the shart trophy.
