    If I had to choose Fowler because he is younger, but might be able to give up less for Endstrom, Sabres still need scoring so I wouldnt give up high end draft pick for either. Giving up Psyk and say Weber along with Enis might work but not sure, offense is still a work in progress, is it clear yet who is odd man out? Not to me.

    The hard part is diferentiating between those coming out of the area and Iding them v. those muslims who believe in their faith but willing to stand with others of different faiths. The area is so polarized its gonna take real leadership and there doesnt seem to be much anywhere right now

    I don't like the ability of coaches to challenge offsides, goals are one thing... Offside challenges seem as others have stated ruins flow.

    Darn missed the third's excitement taking a nap before overnite shift.... no comment on offsides but think its stupid to allow challenge for it. I am more interested in Eichel's weak offensive corner play. Is he worried about pissing off some knuckleheaded defensemen a la McDavid or is this his style, boy needs to learn how to hit on forecheck. Too many time other team's D has too much time and space against him imo.

    I hear you but the board especially and the pads at that point on top dont need to be that wide or even part of the pads, but could be separate part of undergarment and of limited width.

    And the NHL knows this has studied ad nuseum and still done nothing... Make the equipment smaller and be done with it. This whole debate is such a stall tactic to actually taking some action. Next time someone complains about low goal scoring, the response should be the NHL knows what to do but wont, reduce pad size.

    There is a hall of fame on the harbour dedicated to him, spent my summers just north of there on one of the 30 thousand islands. worked for a commercial fisherman up there as a young teen, canoed and bushwacked North of Lake Nippising on lakes Tamigima and Wakimika as well as on the French River System. The Georgian Bay is beautiful and water still clean and Pike Smallie Wall Eye and perch fishing is awesome. Need to go back

    I like stats too, but they dont explain matchups well, team v team why certain lines play against others, chemistry i suppose shows up in stats but it depends on which stats you look at. I miss Rick's call of Gilbert Perrault winding from behind the net or Robert flying down the wing or Martins wrist shot or Luce going in on a break and sooting it over top of the net, or Rammmer on the forecheck... Or Shoney leveling someone in front of net... I could go on..., painting a picture with his words as I listened to the radio under my pillow to avoid my parents detection.

    Depends on the coffee, some of it crap, DD and most diner coffee is little more than colored water, I recommend Pete's Sumatra, and my favorite is Fog Buster by Pierce Bros a sweet Dark roast but not bitter. PS I drink it black if it is any good. Starbucks often is too burnt, but Pike's place not bad imo

    I understand your feeling, and initially agree, but infiltration is a problem with sleeper cells. At this point I am not sure of the answer?? More inclined to shut the door rather then be welcoming unless something more can be done on background checks and monitoring into future, but that would be violation of civil rights.

    Korab was ornery, but not a great skater, The combo of Shoney and Korab was nasty and Geuvermont was also nasty. Also there was Larry Playfair..., name cracked me up brcause he never did.

    Hillary imo is a smart political animal and more of a manager than an ideologue. Not sure and ideologue is what is good for this country, though Bernie is certainly more carismatic than HRC. I haven't made up my mind on any of these fronts because I am trying to better understand who will be a better leader. Unlike Bill even when I disagreed with him, I knew he was cutting deals to make things happen. Not sure when it comes down to it, Bernie will have the stones for it, but we shall see.     Welcome again, great posts, as you you may now realize, there is a group of dedicated posters who love to analyze the crap out of all things related to the Sabres and Hockey. Sometimes it may be a little much, but everything is good with a little salt. The one thing most of us have expressed is a desire to better understand talent in Europe. Hopefully you are the first of many joining this board.

    Sabres passing just off. Need some Pete's Italan Roast or Pierce Brother's "Fog Buster" Gionta looks like he has his legs compared to the rest of them. Larrson looks like a brick and a pain to play against, has a little Marchand in him. If it is a top D then no not worth having him play, if forward then maybe but very limited minutes.

    James Spader is an awesome villian. Been watchin Blindspot, if only because of hot women one with tatoes and a raspy voice pitter patters my heart, that and the third episode at the hospital was filmed outside the hospital I work in. Cool got to meet a few of the actors, smokin cig outside hosp ironically.

    Sabres made too many mistakes in 1st and TB jumped on them cruising thereafter. Almost seems like it takes a while for Sabres forward to reacquaint themselves and I cant stand Psyk or McCabe with one of the slower D. Sabres do need Bogo back but they lost a lot physicality the last 2 years giving up Z and McNabb. They need a youngun like that back.

    Gionta is a turnover magnet, D pairings are too slow. Psyk and McKabe would be fine but you can't put Weber with anyone else. Geez, they need to hit and Tampa is really good at obstruction at the their own blue line. The guy s on D just ran around and didn't seem to know where to pass to clear the zone.

    Agreed, but it is a risk and deserves a discount, could be that it works out well but not from a pure negotiating standpoint.
