  1. So why even make a statement abt 30th place team. Makes no sense... loose lips kinda thing like the reported McDavid stuff... Needs to be more circumspect... In public.
  2. Yeh and that statement alone worries me about TM... No responsibilty for his side of the street and classless statement.
  3. TPegs better hope so, not sure I buy Murray being someone easy to work with and Sabres dont need a kiss ass young neophyte coach.
  4. And as been said TN was set up to fail, the fact that TM barely spoke with Nolan is the clearest indication of not having a working relationship. TM must do better with next coach especially one of his choosing or the next one is on him. If this is an indication of TM style TPegs needs to abandon ship now. TM needs to be a good eval of talent and be able to communicate that with coach.
  5. Agreed dont need a rookie coach... If that is Murray's plan I will be advocating Murray be fired from jump.
  6. I am sad really like T Nolan, that being said timing this quick is a bit of a surprise, but maybe not. Jeez I hope TM doesnt start a revolving door...
  7. Ennis McEichel Kane Moulson, Reinhart, Gionta Foligno, Girgensons, Grigerenko Batiste, Larsson, Deslauriers *Bailey Risto, Zads Bogo, Pysyk Gorges, McCabe One of the current Makarov?Lindback? I am still not sure about Moulson who showing signs of age, but to start the year I am ok with him. Also, I think Kaleta still has a role early on especially on the checking line and until he gets hurt. Not for trading for whats his name from Colorado... to expensive for the talent and don't need another head case. Jagr or Moulson but not both. Nice to have some developing centers with talent. Sabres need to draft wingers and another D after the first pick.
  8. Hogson and Stafford were whipping boys but Weber was the Mascot, but really don't want to pin that one on him cause he was loyal to the end and he fought so hard... Maybe Ellis... a guy with no skill that just wouldn't go away.
  9. That would make my season.... Agreed send Cindy home in a body bag... It is a new era... the McEichel era and it ain't in Western, PA
  10. Thanks as well and X-LAX awards are appropriate. Pepto Bismal for the acid reflux crowd...
  11. True, I was 10 and still have my hockey stick autographed by the '75 Sabres....
  12. It will nice next season to actually depend on regular points and not this backward linear coefficient p value statical estimation of finishing last. So it will be the chances of finishing first, now I have to listen to local sports radio talk about the insufferable Strangers. I hope they lose in the first round... P.S. Matt Harvey looked awesome yesterday...
  13. I feel a cathartic sense of reflief... kinda like a morning constitutional...hmmm, ahhhh, sigh :)
  14. Coyote howl somewhere... Yip Yip Yahooooooooo. Can I see a pic of the trophy?
  15. True, but at least you have always known what is needed.... Centers.
  16. Was even more scared when the Sabres pulled the goalie.. I was thinking just don't do it... Why?
  17. Sabres could learn something for next year... just not this game.
  18. Nice to get home and Sabres losing 1-2... Don't care about Corsi, Horsi just as long as they play porsi enough to lose. Tank On.
  19. If you say it with a smile you can get away most anything so here goes, go 7$@&&! Yourself :)
  20. I want Nolan back if he can continue to show that he can give young guys a chance (Grigerenko and Larson) if not.... the don't let the door hit you where the lord split you...
  21. Its all about growing into the game for some guys and it is hard for fans and coaches alike to be patient when we that kind of talent in Grigs, but yeh he was considered a risk because of his lackadaisical attitude at times. That seems to be changing. He also seems to react to positive encouragement, not so much the negative stuff, something for Nolan to take credit for. It will be nice if he keeps progress because his hands are special. I can see Grigs as a winger, he has the size of Nash and the hands, just needs to keep learning how to play hard. Having better players around him certainly seems to help him and then his skills come out and they help those guys.
  22. Gorilla pose and then stride... tough at first but really helps with overall balance. Been there are lot until recently, been finally putting the puck in the net again. Had a dry spell.... Feeling better less tense.
