Two lowest scoring teams so far but have three skilled players left and B-Lo has 4, gonna be interesting, couple guys each team underperforming

Agree D looked Macanicsl at times, gonna take a minute, Fasching looked decent and D lo, though not a scorer. 2nd Leaf goal was goaltender interference non call. Preseason whatever, but announcer said Sabres lacked speed to keep up, not sure but again outta sink with new style. Sam looked really out of sink... When Sabres were physical they got chances but Gorges did nothing fast or physical.

And they are smoking some Colorado... for Risto... the more I think about it... I would want Duchene and something else back, especially given the market for defenders so Landeskog... but yeh doubt Colorado would do that with even Nylander thrown in, especially after their success with Girgerenko... Agreed.

Pu looked like art... Cheech and Chong routine with the dogs on the sidewalk... man that looks like a piece of art man... Seriously, he looked O.K. had a few moments, but needed to be more noticeable.

OMG... Drew Stafford came to mind too, just didn't want to jinx him... but LOL

Risto, Scandella, Beaulieu, Bogo not playing. McCabe and an inexperienced Antipin... Faulk... Tennison and who else playing D... pretty tough to play against Toronto's top line... esplains a lot. Fasching I have been seeing progress... the other two especially Baptiste have been pretty uninspiring.

Remember only half the team played tonight... so what Liger said has some merit.... except Poulliot...meh, not impressed.... larger version of Moulson... In fact if Poulliot plays that passively during regular season, would prefer Moulson... yeeeesh... ducks.

I'd be stuck eating Pasta and sauce all the time... Maybe some nuts and Tia type food without meat but lots of spice. Still would be craving some more... Just couldn't do it... Soy milk... yuckkkkkk. Love my ice cream too much... Had way too much powdered milk as a kid and Soy is too close to it... again yuckkkk.

Agreed, the Leaves played a lot more of their starters tonight, but they outskated the Sabres. Antipin looked better, forwards look awful. Didn't see much of the third, but jeez hometown refs. Non calls on them, Sabres too much time on the penalty kill. That being said, they could use the work and did pretty well. Fasching wasn't on the specialty teams much so didn't notice him much in the first two periods. EROD looked good but may be out. Rough hit. Good learning experience for the young Sabres and what they need to bring. Pu looked decent, played hard but a little raw like he wasn't totally sure how to deal with the Leafs speed. Lot of bouncing pucks and ice was terrible in the first, Sabres couldn't seem to keep the puck on their sticks in part because the Leafs aggressive forecheck. Again learning experience for the young defenders and what is needed to move the puck. Looked in someways they were trying to figure how to implement Housley's breakouts... not rote yet, against a tough forecheck. Pouliot looked meh... Sabres could use Nylander and Middlestadt now! Middlestadt especially.

Gorges probably qualifies some neuro disorder with all his brain farts... Matty Mo... too wookyish does that qualify him for LTIR

What about Matty Mo on third if they have too, but he might fit in with Sam’s passing acumen.

yeh he sort of flies under the Radar, but was first D call up and really good skater.

You left out Santini on D, called up late last year and played a bunch games. Hear Devil high on him and played as a D partner with Butcher previously...
